Patent number: 6250077Abstract: A hydraulic continuously variable transmission for use on a vehicle comprises a hydraulic variable pump, which is driven by an engine, and a hydraulic variable motor, which is driven by oil discharged from the hydraulic variable pump to drive wheels. In addition, this transmission includes shift position detecting means, which detects a shift position, and vehicle stop detecting means, which detects whether the vehicle is in halt. In this transmission, when the vehicle stop detecting means detects that the vehicle is in halt and the shift position detecting means detects that the shift position is in a forward or rearward drive position, the discharge capacity of the hydraulic variable motor is set to a maximum, and the discharge capacity of the hydraulic variable pump is controlled to a predetermined capacity (first predetermined capacity) in correspondence with the shift position. Thereby, the vehicle is prevented from relapse phenomenon, i.e.Type: GrantFiled: May 1, 1998Date of Patent: June 26, 2001Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Takashi Iino, Akihito Okuda, Shigeru Morimoto

Patent number: 6099262Abstract: An axial piston pump provided with a pump shaft, a pump cylinder, pistons and a swashplate is stored in the inside of first and second case halves and connected to a valve plate by bolts. A tensile force is made to act on the bolts by transmitting a hydraulic pressure reaction received by the cylinder to the second case half through the valve plate and by transmitting a hydraulic pressure reaction received by the pistons to the first case half through the pump swashplate 32. The tensile force is canceled by generating a thrust force in the pump shaft 10 by meshing a helical gear 50 provided on the pump shaft 10 with a helical gear 49 supported on the valve plate 27, and transmitting this thrust force from the ball bearing 46 to the first case half 42. Thus, it is possible to reduce a tensile force which acts on the casing of an axial piston machine.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 1998Date of Patent: August 8, 2000Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Takashi Iino, Mikihiro Takano

Patent number: 6067795Abstract: A hydraulic continuously variable transmission for use on a vehicle comprises a hydraulic closed circuit, first and second pressure controlling means, brake operation detecting means and deceleration detecting means. The hydraulic closed circuit includes a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic motor, a first oil passage connecting a port of the hydraulic pump with a port of the hydraulic motor and a second oil passage connecting another port of the hydraulic pump with another port of the hydraulic motor, and first and second pressure controlling means control the pressures of the first and second oil passages, respectively. If the deceleration of the vehicle is greater than a standard deceleration when the operation of the brake is detected, then the pressure of the first or second oil passage whose pressure is higher than that of the other is lowered to a predetermined low pressure that is higher than the pressure of either oil passage which is lower by either the first or second pressure controlling means.Type: GrantFiled: May 8, 1998Date of Patent: May 30, 2000Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Takashi Iino, Yoshihiro Katagiri, Shigeru Morimoto

Patent number: 5959862Abstract: When the number of pieces of data which are operated on by an operation unit per unit time is N times the number of pieces of data entered into a data entry section per unit time and the operation unit performs an operation on a data set consisting of K samples of data, the data set extraction starting positions on a data string entered into the data entry section are shifted by K/N samples. Each of data sets thus extracted from the data string is sent to the operation unit to be operated on. This configuration permits the precision of operations by the operation unit to be improved according to the ratio K/N without reducing the operation efficiency of the operation unit.Type: GrantFiled: February 16, 1995Date of Patent: September 28, 1999Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Toshiharu Kawanishi, Osamu Nomura, Tetsuro Nagashima, Takashi Iino, Shigeaki Okutani

Patent number: 5701436Abstract: Herein disclosed is an information processing apparatus having a synchronous storage and the synchronous storage which can resume an operation continuing from before an interruption without hindrance even after a series of read/write operations have been interrupted and a read/write of internal condition values has been performed in a scanning operation or the like. The information processing apparatus successively selects information stored in address backup registers in two stages and data backup registers in two stages and outputs the selected information to the synchronous storage when a normal operation is resumed, thereby restoring an address data register, a data input register and a data output register to the same conditions as before the interruption of the normal operation. This invention is applicable to a synchronous storage accessible in synchronism with a system clock and an information processing apparatus having such synchronous storage.Type: GrantFiled: July 28, 1995Date of Patent: December 23, 1997Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Tetsuro Nagashima, Toshiharu Kawanishi, Shigeaki Okutani, Osamu Nomura, Takashi Iino

Patent number: 5616918Abstract: A plasma ion mass spectrometer capable of improving detection accuracy in mass spectrometry by reducing background noise due to ultraviolet radiation and neutral particles, and a plasma ion mass spectrometry using the same. A sample is ionized with plasma in a plasma generating portion. The flow of the ionized sample is shielded by a shield plate after an elapse of a specified time, and ions of the sample accumulated before the shielding is held in an ion trap type mass spectrometric portion for a specified time. The ions of the sample held for the specified time are then subjected to mass spectrometry. During ions of the sample accumulated before the shielding are held, ultraviolet radiation mixed with the ions of the sample disappears, and thereby only ions of the sample can be subjected to mass spectrometry. As a result, background noise is reduced, to improve detection accuracy in mass spectrometry.Type: GrantFiled: October 5, 1995Date of Patent: April 1, 1997Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Konosuke Oishi, Toyoharu Okumoto, Masamichi Tsukada, Takashi Iino

Patent number: 5308977Abstract: A plasma mass spectrometer generates an aerosol of a sample, by dissolving the sample in a liquid solvent, and spraying the liquid into a spray chamber via a nebulizer. The solvent condenses in the spray chamber and an aerosol of the sample then passes through a supply tube to a plasma torch. Microwave power from an output on the plasma torch converts the aerosol to a plasma, and the plasma passes to an analyzer. If microwave radiation reached the spray chamber, it would cause heating of the solvent which may evaporate it so that the solvent would be present in the plasma. Therefore, there is a wall between the spray chamber and the plasma torch and microwave output which blocks such microwave radiation.Type: GrantFiled: March 2, 1993Date of Patent: May 3, 1994Assignee: Hitachi, LtdInventors: Konosuke Oishi, Masataka Koga, Hiromi Yamashita, Takashi Iino, Toyoharu Okumoto, Tsuyoshi Nishitarumizu
