  • Publication number: 20180087603
Abstract: In a transmission apparatus for a saddle-type vehicle, dowels on first transmission gears are engageable in and disengageable from dowel holes in adjacent second transmission gears to shift gear positions. The first transmission gears are slidable in response to angular movement of a shift spindle caused by operating a shift pedal. Invalid engagement time, during which the dowels and dowel columns are in sliding abutment, at an idling engine rotational speed is in the range from 0 msec. to 40 msec., providing an enhanced feeling for gear shifting operations and reduce hammering noise.

  • Publication number: 20180057050
Abstract: The steering angles of front wheels 3f and rear wheels 3r of a vehicle 1 can be respectively controlled by a front wheel steering angle control actuator 35 and a rear wheel steering angle control actuator 44. If a steering wheel 20 is operated in a turning direction of the vehicle 1 while the vehicle 1 is traveling in a straight line, then a controller 60 changes the steering angle of the front wheels 3f to approach to a steering angle specified on the basis of an operation amount after the steering wheel 20 is operated, and also controls the front wheel steering angle control actuator 35 and the rear wheel steering angle control actuator 44 to change the steering angles of the rear wheels 3r to the opposite direction of the turning direction of the vehicle 1 immediately after the steering wheel 20 is operated.

  • Publication number: 20170254414
Abstract: A transmission system for a vehicle has a shift driving mechanism which operates, under control by a control unit, at the time of shifting the gear position, to disengage a transmission gear of a current gear position and a shifter from each other after engaging a transmission gear of a next gear position and a shifter with each other in a condition where a transmission clutch that transmits power to the transmission gear of the next gear position is in an engaged state. This ensures smoother and swifter shifting of gear position.

  • Patent number: 8183969
Abstract: A coil component which can secure the insulation and strength of a ferrite core and reserve a winding region sufficiently is provided. By coating a surface of an Mn—Zn-based ferrite core with a glass film, this coil component can secure the insulation between the ferrite core and a terminal electrode. Coating with the glass film also ensures the strength of the ferrite core, thereby inhibiting cracks from occurring in boundary parts between a winding core part and flanges. In the coil component, at least one of the thickness of the glass film covering the surface of the winding core part and the thickness of the glass film covering the inner side face of the flange is smaller than the thickness of the glass film in the remaining part. Thus suppressing the thickness of the glass film on the surface of the winding core part and on the inner side face of the flange can sufficiently secure a winding region M.

  • Patent number: 7989315
Abstract: When printing is performed on a base substrate with a laser after a single crystal silicon layer is transferred to the base substrate, there are problems such as ablation of the single crystal silicon layer in the peripheral portion of a printed dot or attachment of glass chips or the like to the surface of the single crystal silicon layer. After printing is performed on the bonding surface of a silicon wafer with a laser, the surface of the silicon wafer is polished by CMP (chemical mechanical polishing), so that the projection in the peripheral portion of the printed dot is removed. After that, the silicon wafer is bonded to the base substrate. Since the depression of the printed dot remains to some extent by a chemical etching effect even after the polishing by CMP, the single crystal silicon layer is not transferred only at the depression portion at the time of the transfer; accordingly, the information is left on the base substrate.

  • Patent number: 7905008
Abstract: There is provided a method of manufacturing a coil component, where a first insulation layer is formed on a first magnetic substrate, an insulation film is formed on the first insulation layer, a coil conductor is formed on the insulation film, another insulation film is formed on the coil conductor, and an open region is formed on the inner circumference side and on the outer circumference side of the coil conductor. A magnetic later is embedded, at least partially, in the open region, and a second magnetic substrate is secured on the magnetic layer. Also, a plurality of electrode terminals are formed, where one of the electrode terminals is connected to a terminal portion of the coil conductor, and the electrode terminals are provided across sides of the first and second magnetic substrates. Therefore, the first insulation layer can suitably prevent shorting failures between the electrode terminals.
