    Abstract: An improved movable stand has a parallel crank arm assembly which includes a pair of parallel arm members and first and second brackets positioned at opposite ends of said arms. Each of the parallel arm members is pivoted at its ends to their adjacent brackets to thereby define a parallel crank. One of the arm members is shaped into a tubular configuration in order to enclose therein the other arm member, whereby the movable stand can have a single-arm-like appearance of aesthetic appeal.
