  • Publication number: 20240072608
Abstract: A power generation module includes an input part, an elastic member, generator, a rotatable member, a transmission part, and a lock part. The elastic member stores energy input to the input part. The generator generates power when a rotor of the generator is rotated. The rotatable member rotates the rotor. The transmission part transmits the energy stored in the elastic member to the rotatable member. The lock part restricts a rotation of the rotor by the transmission part. The energy is stored in the elastic member by the lock part restricting the rotation of the rotor while the input part moves from an initial position to a prescribed position. The restriction of the rotor by the lock part is released and the rotor is rotated by the energy stored in the elastic member when the input part moves to the prescribed position.

  • Patent number: 8458889
Abstract: An actuator manufacturing method includes alternately stacking a plurality of dielectric elastomer layers and a plurality of conductive rubber layers along the direction of thickness to form a sheet, and wrapping the sheet formed about a core to form a rolled sheet. When the sheet formed in the step of alternately stacking is wrapped about the core, the sheet is formed by the dielectric elastomer layers and the conductive rubber layers. Therefore, even if the dielectric elastomer layers in the sheet are made to be thin, the thickness of the entire sheet is prevented from being excessively thin.

  • Patent number: 7124870
Abstract: A mechanism for mechanically coupling a driving source and a driven member. The mechanism includes a first member coupled to the driving source and a second member coupled to the driven member. A resilient member exerts a force to bring the first and second members into pressure contact at a contact surface. A vibration is excited in the contact surface of the first member to produce a levitation force, based on an ultrasonic levitation, acting upon the second member. Frictional force between the first member and the second member is changed depending on the levitation force, thereby changing power transmitted between the first member and the second member.

  • Publication number: 20050006394
Abstract: A high-pressure gas container is provided with a hollow liner portion made of resin and a regulating portion disposed on the outer peripheral side of the liner portion. Reinforcing ribs projected toward the hollow inside of the liner portion and used for reinforcing the liner portion are provided integrally with the liner portion on the inner peripheral side of the liner portion. Providing the reinforcing ribs results in increasing the strength of the high-pressure gas container. Moreover, providing the reinforcing ribs integrally with the liner portion makes it possible to reduce not only the number of parts and that of manufacturing man-hours required to produce the high-pressure gas container, so that the high-pressure gas containers are producible less costly.
