  • Publication number: 20070140662
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a data processor configured to execute processing for selecting a plurality of frame pictures from moving-picture data and for displaying an array of the selected frame pictures. In selecting frame pictures to be displayed, the data processor preferentially selects frame pictures corresponding to highlight points as frame pictures to be displayed, using highlight point information that allows identification of picture portions corresponding to important scenes, the highlight point information being recorded in association with the moving-picture data.

  • Publication number: 20070120986
Abstract: An imaging device includes a data processor configured to execute processing for selecting picture portions corresponding to important scenes from captured picture data, on the basis of input information that is input during a period of taking a picture. The data processor generates highlight point information that allows identification of the picture portions corresponding to the important scenes, the picture portions being selected on the basis of the input information, and records the highlight point information on a recording medium as information associated with the captured picture data.

  • Patent number: 7148655
Abstract: A communication portion of a video camera receives expected power information of a printer from the printer, and also receives battery power information from a battery pack. When a microcomputer judges that there is any shift to a state where the power consumption amount under operating state is varied, that is, the printer is under a print standby state for printing operation, an operating portion reads out expected power information of the video camera under operation of the printer which is stored in advance is read out from the storage portion to calculate the expected power consumption amount of a video camera system under the operation of the printer on the basis of the expected power information of the printer received by the communication portion and the expected power information of the video camera read out, and the battery residual amount time is determined on the basis of the expected power consumption amount.

  • Patent number: 6995543
Abstract: An electronic apparatus has a multiplicity of display units including an electronic viewfinder and a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel. The apparatus has various display modes. The remaining battery power, i.e., estimated amounts of remaining battery times relative to a current remaining battery capacity, are calculated for the respective display modes. The calculated remaining battery power is collectively displayed as the remaining battery power information on the respective display units. The remaining battery power can be obtained for all the display modes even when the battery is being charged, so that a user can always grasp the remaining battery power of any of the display modes.
