  • Publication number: 20040178086
Abstract: A drink pack position-keeping device of the present invention keeps a drink pack in a drink container at the reasonable location and the drink pack can easily be taken out from the drink container any time. The drink pack position-keeping device of the present invention comprises a stopper, a suspending unit and an attaching unit. The drink pack containing an object to be infiltrated is attached to the suspending unit with the attaching unit. When the drink pack position-keeping device is attached to the drink container, the stopper is placed on the entire rim of the upper end of the mouth of the drink container, and the drink pack suspending from the stopper is located at the predetermined length lower than the liquid level in the drink container. Accordingly, the drink pack is prevented from going to the bottom of the drink container.

  • Publication number: 20030191222
Abstract: A resin composition of the present invention comprises a polymer having functional groups and a metal oxide surface modified to form functional groups at a surface of the metal oxide and dispersed uniformly in the polymer. The functional groups of the polymer and the functional groups of the metal oxide are ionically bondable to the metal oxide and the polymer, respectively, so that the polymer and the metal oxide are bonded by ionic bonds to each other.

  • Publication number: 20030134130
Abstract: For producing a modified silica composition, finely particulate silica with silanol groups is used. The finely particulate silica is so modified as to have a modification factor of 0.45 to 8 as expressed by the product (A×B) of the hydrophobic ratio (A) of its silanol groups and the total carbon number (B) of alkyl groups. It makes with a matrix resin a transparent resin composition of high transparency and rigidity which can make a thermoplastic resin laminate having an excellent appearance and suitable for application to a part for the exterior decoration of a vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20030108704
Abstract: A resin composition to be used as a material of a part of an automotive vehicle. The resin composition comprises a matrix resin. Linkages of inorganic fine particles are uniformly dispersed in the matrix resin. Each linkage has hydroxyl groups and hydrophobic groups which are introduced by a hydrophobicity-providing treatment. The linkages take at least one of a chain-like form and a net-like form.

  • Publication number: 20030108734
Abstract: A resin composition to be used as a material for a various part of an automotive vehicle. The resin composition comprises a copolymer (A) formed by copolymerization of a first unsaturated monomer (a) and a second mononer (b). The first unsaturated monomer has a functional group which is bondable by hydrogen bond to a hydroxyl group. The second monomer is copolymerizable with the first unsaturated monomer. A metal oxide (B) is dispersed in the copolymer and having hydroxyl groups and hydrophobic groups at surface of the metal oxide.
