  • Publication number: 20130252416
Abstract: The TSV technology has been popular as one of stacking technologies of a plurality of semiconductor chips. It has however been revealed by the present inventors that when TSV is formed using a so-called first via process, via middle process, front-via via last process, or the like, there is a possibility of defects such as gate breakdown occurring due to electrostatic breakdown in the subsequent process. In order to overcome the above problem, the present invention provides a method of manufacturing a semiconductor integrated circuit device, in which a through via electrode is formed by forming a hole in a semiconductor substrate, forming an insulating member in the hole, and burying a conductive member in the resulting hole while covering a portion of the hole except for the bottom portion with the insulating member.

  • Publication number: 20130190625
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an ultrasonic probe has a laminated structure of an acoustic matching layer, transducer layer with arrayed transducers, and backing layer. A transmission/reception unit transmits and receives ultrasonic waves to and from an object via the transducers. A control unit controls the transmission/reception unit to synchronize ultrasonic-wave generation by a specific transducer of the transducers with ultrasonic-wave reception by a different transducer. A phase shift detection unit detects a phase shift between an output signal from the transmission/reception unit and a reference signal, the output signal corresponding to synchronization between the ultrasonic-wave generation and the ultrasonic-wave reception.

  • Patent number: 8265578
Abstract: In a radio receiving apparatus, an analog received signal is converted into a digital received signal. An unwanted wave in an adjacent channel band is rejected, that is adjacent to a passband for the digital received signal. The digital received signal with no unwanted wave is converted into a first demodulated signal. The first demodulated signal is converted into a second demodulated signal in analog form. A noise component is extracted from the first demodulated signal. The second demodulated signal is suppressed under squelch control when a squelch voltage that is a voltage of the noise component after rectification and smoothing becomes equal to or higher than a predetermined threshold level.
