  • Publication number: 20200358568
Abstract: Provided is a terminal including a receiver, which, in operation, receives a Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS) candidate list for CSI-RS configuration information. The CSI-RS candidate list is indicated as Radio Resource Control (RRC) control information for respective terminals. The terminal further includes circuitry, which, in operation, specifies at least one CSI-RS resource information of a measurement target based on the CSI-RS candidate list, and measures a reception power using the specified CSI-RS resource information. The terminal also includes a transmitter, which, in operation, reports the result of the reception power measurement. A reception power measurement method is also provided.

  • Patent number: 10834644
Abstract: When detecting occurrence of an event for transmitting a measurement report of a radio condition of a cell at a frequency set for a base station apparatus, to the base station apparatus (3) communicating with a terminal apparatus (2), the terminal apparatus (2) in a wireless communication system (1) creates a measurement report including information indicating radio conditions of cells at a frequency at which the event occurred and at another different frequency. The base station apparatus (3) controls whether or not to perform handover of the terminal apparatus (2) to another cell, on the basis of the measurement report transmitted from the terminal apparatus (2). Thereby, there is provided a wireless communication system in which a base station apparatus and the terminal apparatus are communicable with each other using multiple frequencies, the wireless communication system being capable of shortening time required for handover.

  • Publication number: 20200281000
Abstract: The invention relates to methods for improving a scheduling request transmission between a UE and a base station. The transmission of the scheduling request is postponed, by implementing a threshold that the data in the transmission buffer has to reach, before a transmission of the scheduling request is triggered. In one variant, the data in the transmission buffer needs to reach a specific amount, to trigger a scheduling request. The invention refers to further improvements: the PDDCH monitoring time window is delayed after sending a scheduling request; the dedicated scheduling request resources of the PUCCH are prioritized differently such that low-priority scheduling requests are transmitted less often.

  • Publication number: 20200267664
Abstract: A base station includes a transmitter which transmits an offset value for a transmission power of a sounding reference signal (SRS) to a terminal apparatus; and a receiver which receives the SRS at the transmission power controlled by the terminal apparatus. The offset value used to control the transmission power is set within one of a first offset setting range having a first lower limit value and a first upper limit value and a second offset setting range having a second lower limit value and a second upper limit value. A difference between the first and second lower limit values equals a difference between the first and second upper limit values. A step width of the offset values within the first offset setting range equals a step width of the offset values within the second offset setting range. The SRS is a periodic SRS (P-SRS) or an aperiodic SRS (A-SRS).

  • Publication number: 20200015110
Abstract: In a wireless communication terminal in a wireless communication system for performing a control not to transmit signals, or to transmit signals with a reduction in a transmission power by a part of radio resources for a downlink signal in a cell provided by a base station, the terminal receives control information in generating a report related to a measurement result of the cell provided by the base station, monitors a state of a radio link with an own cell, and performs measurement on reception of the downlink signal. If an instruction for restricting the measurement to a part of the radio resources is included in the control information from the base station after the radio link failure occurs, the terminal generates and transmits a radio link failure report including the measurement result in the radio resources as instructed when the radio link failure occurs.
