  • Patent number: 7896245
Abstract: In a cart terminal device, a goods-layout-information storage unit stores goods layout information, having information indicating a layout region within a shop related to a goods classification indicating goods laid out in the layout region, and a contents-position-information storage unit stores contents position information, having a transmitter number related to the goods classification. When a user assigns an optional position and an optional transmitter within the shop, a transmitter-position-information creating unit obtains a goods classification corresponding to the position by referencing the goods layout information, and obtains a goods classification corresponding to the transmitter by referencing the contents position information. When the obtained goods classifications coincide with each other, the transmitter-position-information creating unit creates transmitter position information, having position information related to a transmitter number for identifying the transmitter.

  • Patent number: 7710267
Abstract: A movement information determining unit determines a moving direction and a moving speed of a user using position information detected by a position information detecting unit. A moving-speed determining unit determines whether the moving speed exceeds a predetermined threshold speed. An information display unit displays high-speed movement information corresponding to the position information and the moving direction when the moving speed is determined to exceed the threshold speed, and low-speed movement information corresponding to the position information and the moving direction when the moving speed is determined not to exceed the threshold speed.

  • Publication number: 20100000837
Abstract: When a goods registration process is executed in a POS terminal and money is jammed in a deposited-money conveying device after a deposit is received through an input port of a coin/bill dispenser, the coin/bill dispenser transmits an error notification to the POS terminal. When receiving the error notification, the POS terminal sets a deposit-amount fixing mode to a manual input mode, calculates, when a deposit amount is input and a total key is pressed by an operator, a change amount by using an input deposit amount and a sales amount totalized during the goods registration process, and transmits change information including the change amount to the coin/bill dispenser. The coin/bill dispenser causes a storage device to dispense change therefrom based on the change amount and ejects the change through an ejection port.

  • Publication number: 20090308916
Abstract: In a POS terminal apparatus, a specific commodity is selected as a reserved commodity from advertised commodities displayed on a display with touch panel for customers during execution of commodity registration processing by a commodity-registration processing section Then, the commodity-registration processing section causes the display with touch panel for customers and a display with touch panel for salesclerks to additionally display details information of the reserved commodity in details spaces of commodity lists displayed on respective screens of the displays. When a subtotal key is depressed, a deposit processing section calculates an amount of a deposit and causes the display with touch panel for customers to display the amount of the deposit. When a total key is depressed, a change calculating section calculates a change amount.

  • Publication number: 20080237360
Abstract: A receipt-and-payment-information transmitting unit of a change dispenser transmits receipt and payment information of receipt and payment processing, which is started according to reception of a start instruction for independent operation, to a POS terminal. An icon display/deleting unit of the POS terminal causes a display device to display an icon indicating that receipt and payment information is received on a display screen. An alternation-processing prohibiting/releasing unit prohibits execution of operator alternation processing. A receipt-and-payment-information registering unit registers, in a storing unit, receipt and payment information including a receipt and payment type input from a receipt-and-payment-type input screen displayed according to an execution instruction for the icon. When receipt and payment types corresponding to all pieces of receipt and payment information are registered, the icon display/deleting unit deletes the icon from the display screen.

  • Publication number: 20060074772
Abstract: A screen keyboard has an operation screen with an arrangement of product keys displayed on a display panel having disposed thereon a touch panel, thereby causing a product registration operation through an operation of a product key. A screen transition control unit causes a main operation screen to be displayed on the display panel of the screen keyboard, and also causes a screen selection key to be displayed. After switching from the main operation screen to another operation screen in accordance with an operation on the screen selection key, the screen transition control unit recognizes satisfaction of a predetermined condition, such as a lapse of a prescribed time, and then automatically effects a transition to the main operation screen.
