Publication number: 20240149565Abstract: There is provided a silicon carbide composite body that can be expected to have efficient heat conduction and electrical conduction between bonding base materials. The silicon carbide composite body includes a first base material including silicon carbide having a silicon oxide layer SiOx formed on the surface and a second base material which has an oxide layer MOy with an element M, which is one or more of metals that forms an oxide in the atmosphere (excluding alkali metals and alkaline earth metals), Si, Ge, As, Se, Sb, and C in diamond on the surface, and is bonded to the first base material such that the MOy side faces the SiOx side, and when at least some of C in silicon carbide forms C—O-M bonds and/or at least some of Si in the silicon carbide forms Si—O?M bonds, the second base material is bonded to the first base material.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 18, 2022Publication date: May 9, 2024Inventors: Takashi MATSUMAE, Hideki TAKAGI, Hitoshi UMEZAWA, Yuuichi KURASHIMA, Eiji HIGURASHI

Patent number: 6514024Abstract: A clip 1 includes both a pin 7 having a flange 10 and a shank 11, and a bush 9 having a flange 13 and a shank 14 with the bush 9 having a hollow configuration to receive the shank of the pin 11. The shank of the bush is inserted into holes of a plurality of attachment members to be connected with each other. Then, the shank of the pin is inserted into the hollow shank of the bush to enlarge the diameter of the shank of the bush so as to connect the attachment members each other by the enlarged shank of the bush and the flange of the bush. The shank of the bush 14 includes a plurality of longitudinally extending legs 31 which are divided in the circumferential direction of the shank of the bush. Each of the legs 31 includes a thin wall portion, which extends longitudinally from the root portion of the leg adjacent to the flange of the bush to the intermediate portion 34 of the leg.Type: GrantFiled: August 6, 2001Date of Patent: February 4, 2003Assignee: Newfrey LLCInventors: Tsuyoshi Akema, Takashi Umezawa

Patent number: 5044526Abstract: A reservoir in which fuel can be collected when only a small amount of fuel remains in the fuel tank, is arranged to support a fuel pump and to be connectable to the lower wall of the tank by a snap action type connector arrangement which is defined between a bracket fixed to the lower wall of the fuel tank and a portion of the reservoir which cooperates with the bracket. The reservoir containing the pump can be manually introduced into the interior of the fuel tank through an opening in the top thereof and maneuvered into engagement with the bracket. The center of gravity of the relatively heavy pump is arranged to be generally over the top of the bracket. When a predetermined strong force is applied to the reservoir in a predetermined manner it can disengage from the bracket.Type: GrantFiled: December 7, 1989Date of Patent: September 3, 1991Assignees: Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., NIFCO Inc.Inventors: Michiaki Sasaki, Katsunori Ozaki, Tsutomu Oshida, Shigeru Kimura, Takashi Umezawa, Kazuyuki Tomioka

Patent number: 4890966Abstract: A plastic clip for securing a panel or like member to a stud or like securement member is disclosed. The clip comprises a first member having a head portion having a through hole and a pair of locking portions extending from the head portion and capable of being pivoted relative to the head portion and a second member having an insertion portion to be inserted through the through hole and a locking portion to be locked to the securement member. By inserting the insertion portion of the second member into the through hole of the first member after insertion of the pair of locking portions of the first member through a mounting hole of the member to be secured, the pair of locking portions are pivoted away from each other so as to clamp the member to be secured. In this state, the locking portion of the second member is secured to the securement member, thus securing the member to be secured to the securement member.Type: GrantFiled: August 3, 1988Date of Patent: January 2, 1990Assignee: Nifco, Inc.Inventor: Takashi Umezawa
