  • Publication number: 20170121137
Abstract: A sheet detection unit includes a photo-interrupter, a shutter holder, and shutter members held to be movable relative to the shutter holder. The shutter members include a sheet rear end detection portion capable of switching an optical axis between a light-interrupted state and a light-transmitted state and each are supported to be movable to an abutment position where the shutter member causes an abutment surface to protrude, and also movable to a retracted position where the shutter member is retracted from a sheet conveyance path. Based on a detection signal output from the photo-interrupter by the sheet front end detection portion and the sheet rear end detection portion moving relative to the optical axis, a control unit determines the presence or absence of a sheet.

  • Patent number: 9596010
Abstract: In a capacity region of a multiple access channel which is a theoretical limit, a combination of transmission speeds that are equal between the channels is realized. A wireless communication apparatus receives first to third frames, which are sequentially transmitted. The second frame is transmitted at a head time different from that of the first and third frames, and the second frame receives a first signal which is temporally superposed to both the first and third frames. A replica signal of the first frame is generated based on the result obtained by demodulating the first frame, and a second signal which is obtained by canceling it from the first signal is generated. The second frame is demodulated by using the second signal, and the interference from the first frame in the second frame in the second signal is canceled, and the interference from the third frame remains.

  • Patent number: 9577745
Abstract: In a mobile communication system using a code division multiple access (CDMA) method, spreading code detection and frame/slot timing synchronization (cell search) is conducted by using a long code masked symbol. The spreading factor of the long code masked symbol is set to a value lower than spreading factors of other ordinary symbols. As a result, it becomes possible to reduce the circuit scale and power dissipation of the mobile terminal and raise the speed of cell search.

  • Publication number: 20160353972
Abstract: There are provided an endoscope system, a processor apparatus for an endoscope system, and a method for operating an endoscope system. In a special observation mode, first illumination light and second illumination light having a spectral property different from a spectral property of the first illumination light and including different-absorption-wavelength light that has different absorption coefficients for oxygenated hemoglobin and reduced hemoglobin are alternately emitted to a test body while a turn-off period is interposed. A first image capture signal is read from the image sensor during the turn-off period after emission of the first illumination light, and a second image capture signal is read from the image sensor during the turn-off period after emission of the second illumination light. Here, a second read time taken to read the second image capture signal is made shorter than a first read time taken to read the first image capture signal.

  • Patent number: 9325368
Abstract: A period is defined to execute the sequences (processes) of communication data acquisition, measuring communication quality, communication quality data acquisition, and channel change. Processing is controlled to execute each process within a time limit set for each process and execute all processes in one cycle. This avoids that a delayed sequence influences and delays other sequences and can suppress delays. If processing fails to finish a sequence, it will resume the same sequence in the next cycle. For communication stations sharing timeslots, there are provided offset periods differing in length before the start of carrier sense in the timeslots for these stations. Consequently, even under a condition in which packet collision may occur, the collision of packets can be avoided by detecting a packet sent to another station by carrier sense. Moreover, by controlling sending priority of packets in the send queue of the gateway, sending delay can be avoided.
