  • Publication number: 20090079108
Abstract: Each foreign body removing section extends from a position above a pin plate close to a sprocket to a tenter exit, and is located in close proximity to an edge of a wet film, and has a chamber, a brush roller, an air blow suction head, and an adhesive roller section. By contacting the brush roller with a pin plate positioned above the sprocket, fluctuations in disengaging positions of pins are prevented. An impact caused by disengaging the pins from the wet film is reduced. Thus, foreign bodies, namely burrs separated from the wet film, are reduced. The air blow suction head removes foreign bodies by suction. The adhesive roller section removes the residual foreign bodies. Thus, foreign bodies are securely removed. Covering a disengaging area of the pins with the chamber prevents spreading of foreign bodies into a product area and failures caused by foreign bodies.

  • Publication number: 20080237289
Abstract: A pin tentering apparatus as web transport apparatus includes a tentering mechanism for transporting self-supporting cast film by retaining web edge portions of the cast film. A gas flow device blows evaporative gas to the cast film being transported, to float the cast film. A static pressure adjuster lowers static pressure of the evaporative gas to a web middle portion with respect to a web width direction of the cast film, to regularize distribution of the static pressure in the web width direction. In the gas flow device, a blower duct introduces the evaporative gas. A nozzle plate is positioned at a front end of the duct, and has nozzles which blow the evaporative gas. Preferably, the static pressure adjuster includes an exhaust device, disposed to face the web middle portion between the plural nozzles, for exhausting the evaporative gas.

  • Publication number: 20080192587
Abstract: A transfer apparatus comprises: a master carrier on which a minute concave-convex shape is formed; a slave medium to which the concave-convex shape or transfer information expressed by the concave-convex shape is to be transferred; and a holder which holds the slave medium and to which the master carrier is fixed. In the transfer apparatus, the positioning of the master carrier and the slave medium is precisely performed, and the work for supplying the master carrier may be simplified. As a result, it is possible to perform the transfer operation with high efficiency and excellent productivity.
