  • Patent number: 8077477
Abstract: An electronic component, including: a first terminal group including a plurality of functional terminals provided along a first side of the electronic component; a second terminal group including a plurality of functional terminals provided along a second side of the electronic component opposing the first side; and an element that is connected to at least one of the functional terminals of the first terminal group and to at least one of the functional terminals of the second terminal group. The first terminal group includes a first dummy terminal in at least one space between the functional terminals of the first terminal group; the second terminal group includes a second dummy terminal in at least one space between the functional terminals of the second terminal group; and the first and second dummy terminals are not connected to any element inside the electronic component.

  • Publication number: 20090125664
Abstract: A system LSI section 901 having a new function includes an embedded system control microcomputer, but uses a microcomputer within an external microcomputer section 902 having an existing function as a system control microcomputer without using the embedded system control microcomputer. The external microcomputer section 902 outputs a bus request signal XEBRQ when attempting to acquire a system bus 904, receives a bus grant signal XEBGT from an arbitration section 901a within the system LSI section 901 that has received the request signal, and acquires the system bus 904. Then, the external microcomputer section 902 issues a read or write access request to the system LSI section 901 or a peripheral device section 903 using the system bus 904. Therefore, even in the case of adding a system LSI having a new function to a system having an existing function, the system can be reconstructed using previous design resources.

  • Publication number: 20060281400
Abstract: A broadcast information receiving apparatus capable of selecting and storing useful information for users. A screening signal generating unit generates a screening signal indicating a code of a section including a destination set by a user through a user operation unit. A data screening unit compares a section code included in regional information received by the receiving unit with the screening signal, and compares an ID code included in the regional information with an ID code included in regional information already stored in a storage unit. Further, the data screening unit stores in the storage unit, among all regional information received by the receiving unit, such regional information that does not correspond to the ID code included in the regional information corresponding to the screening signal and already stored in the storage unit.
