  • Publication number: 20080185331
Abstract: A fuel filter device includes a bag-shaped filter member and is adapted to be attached to communicate an inner space of the filter member with a fuel suction opening in a fuel tank. The filter member is configured in a multilayer structure. At least one layer of the filter member is configured to serve as an inhibition layer having a structure to prevent water in a fuel tank form coming into the inner space of the filter member by a pressure applied to the filter member when the water is frozen.

  • Patent number: 7348934
Abstract: A compact lens antenna assembly A which is a Luneberg lens antenna comprising a hemispherical lens and a reflecting plate so as to converge incoming radio waves on a feed, and which can receive radio waves from not only a geostationary satellite or an orbiting satellite with high gain even if the incidence angle of the incoming radio waves is large includes lens antenna body 10 including a base plate 11, a reflecting plate 13 and a hemispherical lens 14 made by laminating dielectric materials. The plate 13 and the lens 14 are rotatably mounted on the base plate 11. The antenna body further includes feeds 16a and 16b that can be moved to a desired position along guide rails 15. The antenna assembly further includes a reflecting plate support means 20 mounted on a base 21 and capable of inclining the reflecting plate 13 in a desired direction. By inclining the reflecting plate 13, the incidence angle of radio waves from the satellite is adjustable to a value within a predetermined range.

  • Patent number: 7216312
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for determining one or more reachable states in a circuit using distributed computing and one or more partitioned data structures includes, at a first one of multiple computing systems, receiving a first partition of a circuit. The first partition corresponds to a first binary decision diagram (BDD) having a first density. The method includes performing a first reachability analysis on the first partition using the first BDD until a fixed point in the first partition has been reached and, if, during the first reachability analysis, the size of the first BDD exceeds a threshold, discarding the first BDD. The method includes communicating with at least one second one of the multiple computing systems. The second one of the multiple computing systems has received a second partition of the circuit. The second one of the multiple computing systems has performed a second reachability analysis on the second BDD without discarding the second BDD.

  • Patent number: 7212169
Abstract: In a lens antenna apparatus, a guide rail is formed along the outer surface of a hemispherical lens of a hemispherical lens antenna, and a plurality of radiators are positioned and fixed on the guide rail. When the lens antenna apparatus operates, the directivity of radio beams of the radiators is controlled by adjusting an AZ-axis rotating mechanism, an EL-axis rotating mechanism and an xEL-axis rotating mechanism.

  • Patent number: 6486845
Abstract: An antenna apparatus is provided with two parabolic antennas which are attached to an X-axis and adapted to independently rotate about the X-axis. The X-axis is supported between both ends of a support rail in the shape of a semicircular arc to pass through the center of the arc. The support rail is adapted to slide and is thereby permitted to rotate about the central axis of the arc as a Y-axis. The support rail is placed on a rotating base 13 adapted to rotate about a Z-axis. The entire apparatus is covered with a radome. Each of the parabolic antennas is therefore permitted to rotate about each of the X, Y and Z-axes. By controlling each axis driving mechanism according to the locations and orbits of two satellites, each of the parabolic antennas is permitted to track a respective one of the satellites.

  • Patent number: 6380904
Abstract: A foaming material is charged between a spherical lens and a radome, to form a foaming material layer, thereby to connect the both and support the spherical lens from the side of the radome, in order to provide an easily manufacturing and assembling method having excellent electrical properties, when providing an antenna capable of tracking a plurality of communication satellites and being installed in compact in a relatively small space. The foaming material layer is set at the same dielectric constant as that of the spherical lens or lower than that. Since the radome supports the spherical lens, any special supporting instrument is not necessary. Electrical deterioration occurs to the radome only, not to the supporting instrument. Generally, the radome is little affected by the electrical deterioration and the permeability of the electric waves is uniform, the permeable electric waves are hardly affected.
