  • Publication number: 20230057516
Abstract: A support component that supports a shielding member, and a fixing component that fixes the shielding member to the structure via the support component. The support component has a cylindrical part, two flange parts and spring part. The spring parts have a first spring and a second spring with different load-deflection characteristics. The first spring and the second spring are interposed between each of the two flange parts and both sides of the shielding member. As a result, the invention provides a sufficient buffering effect.

  • Patent number: 11311947
Abstract: A rotary tool according to a non-limiting aspect includes a body having a rotation axis and extending from a first end to a second end. The body including: a first part including the first end; a second part located closer to a second end than the first part and having a larger outside diameter than the first part; a cutting edge located at a side of the first end; a ridge portion located in the first part and the second part, connected to the cutting edge and helically extending from the cutting edge toward the second end; and a flute located along the ridge portion. The flute includes: a first flute located at the first part and having a first helix angle; and a second flute located at the second part and having a second helix angle. The second helix angle is smaller than the first helix angle.

  • Patent number: 6517274
Abstract: Provided is a structure for joining a first part (e.g., a part constituted by a cylinder head and a front cover of an automotive internal combustion engine) having a pair of first and second internal joining surfaces meeting at right angles and a second part (e.g., a part constituted by a cam bracket of the engine) having a pair of first and second external joining surfaces meeting at right angles in such a manner that the first and second internal joining surfaces are respectively joined with the first and second external joining surfaces by interposing therebetween sealant for thereby providing a seal between the first internal joining surface and the first external joining surface and between the second internal joining surface and the second external joining surface. A pair of depressions are provided to the first external joining surface.

  • Patent number: 4910426
Abstract: In a three-transducer surface acoustic wave device, an apodized electrode member is interposed between two interdigital electrode members, each having first and second ends and comprising interdigital electrodes between the first and the second ends either with a uniform density distribution or with a density distribution varied according to a prescribed rule of selective withdrawal of the interdigital electrodes. The apodized electrode member has first and second extremities and is given substantially minimum-phase and maximum-phase impulse responses for surface acoustic waves which are propagated either into or out of the apodized electrode member through one and the other of the extremities. Alternatively, an interdigital electrode member is interposed between two apodized electrode members. Each of the interdigital and the apodized electrode members is of the type described above. One of the apodized electrode member should have a substantially minimum-phase impulse response.

  • Patent number: 4841265
Abstract: A surface acoustic wave (SAW) filter has a piezoelectric substrate and a conductive transducer formed over the substrate. The transducer has first and second bus bars arranged in parallel at a prescribed interval from each other, a plurality of pairs of first electrode fingers having the same lengths, and a plurality of pairs of second electrode fingers having the same lengths. The tips of the second electrode fingers are positioned opposite those of the first electrode fingers. The transducer also has first and second weighted electrode pairs positioned between two adjacent pairs of the first electrode fingers and two adjacent pairs of the second electrode fingers, respectively.

  • Patent number: 4623853
Abstract: In a surface acoustic wave dispersive delay line of the type comprising a substrate made of piezoelectric material along which surface acoustic wave propagates, an input transducer formed on the substrate for producing the surface acoustic wave in response to an input electric signal, a first reflector including a plurality of reflection gatings formed at different spacings on the substrate for reflecting the surface acoustic wave from the input transducer, a second reflector including a plurality of reflection gratings formed at different spacings on the substrate for reflecting the surface acoustic wave reflected by the first reflector, an output transducer for converting the surface acoustic wave reflected by the second reflector into an electric signal, there is provided a device for eliminating concentration of the surface acoustic wave formed by the first and second reflectors.

  • Patent number: 4343536
Abstract: An electro-optic material has at least a pair of confronting elongated electrodes formed on at least one surface thereof. Preferably, each of the electrodes has a plurality of elongated, spaced parallel fingers which interleave with each other (sometimes called "interdigital electrodes"). When a high-frequency signal is applied across the electrodes, the refractive index changes in a linear or nonlinear manner within a layer of the body of the electro-optic material which is near the electrodes. The amount of the index change may be varied by a proper selection of materials, signals and geometrical material configuration.
