Abstract: [PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED] To provide a control device of vending machine that can reduce rewriting time of a control program and can perform control process during the rewriting of the control program. [SOLUTION] The device of vending machine comprises an electrically rewritable nonvolatile flash memory (340) for storing an initial processing program (341) and a control program (342), and a volatile SDRAM (330). The initial processing program (341) transfers the control program (342) from the flash memory (340) to the SDRAM (330), and a control process of the vending machine is performed via execution of the control program (342) in the SDRAM (330). The writing process to the flash memory (340) is executed in parallel with the control process.

Abstract: A beverage dispenser operates a cup holder to advance a cup holding portion holding a cup in which a beverage is filled from an inside of a cup port to an outside thereof to locate it above a cup mount, lower the cup holding portion from a above position by a predetermined distance to place the cup on the cup mount in process of lowering, and retreat the cup holding portion from a lowered position to the inside of the cup port to leave the cup on the cup mount.

Abstract: An ice shaver for a beverage dispenser for charging solid granular ice into cups and shaving granular ice and charging it into cups. An ice charging port opening arranged to expose the part of one end surface of the impeller in the direction of the impeller central axis including the spindle allows granular ice to be charged into the ice shaver body while being agitated by the impeller ameliorate clogging of the bottom end side of the introduction pipe. Also, because the impeller is rotated at a low speed in discharging granular ice, the discharge speed of the ice is reduced, reducing scattering of beverage already in the cup. Furthermore, when an overload occurs in a motor due to the impeller locking caused by clogging with granular ice, driving of the impeller is stopped. Therefore, the motor and a motor drive section are protected from damage due to over current and heating.

Abstract: A vending machine has an input/output switching device between an image display device for displaying a still image and/or a moving image and a first image output device capable of outputting image data of a small data size in a predetermined signal form. This input/output switching device permits arbitrary connection of a second image output device capable of outputting image data of a large data size in a predetermined signal form.

Abstract: An espresso-based beverage is prepared by putting a prescribed quantity of milky foam powder into a cup; injecting a prescribed quantity of hot water from a jet nozzle into the cup to dissolve and beat the milky foam powder to generate milky foam; and pouring a prescribed quantity of espresso coffee from a coffee supplying pipe into the cup.

Abstract: Provided is an ice shaver for a beverage dispenser which can charge granular ice in solid form into cups and which can also shave granular ice and charge the shaved ice into cups. Because an opening of an ice charging port is arranged in a position which expose the part of one end surface of the impeller in the direction of the central axis of impeller including the spindle, granular ice can be charged into the ice shaver body while being agitated by the impeller at the ice charging port, and this provides that advantage that the irregularity that clogging with granular ice occurs on the bottom end side of the introduction pipe can be prevented. Also, because the impeller is rotated at a low speed in discharging granular ice from the ice shaver body, it is possible to reduce the discharge speed of the granular ice which is discharged from the ice shaver body and hence it is possible to prevent the scattering of a beverage in discharging granular ice into a cup.

Abstract: A beverage dispenser can replace a X-Y coordinate of a predetermined cup stop position with a corrected X-Y coordinate by operating an X-axis motor and a Y-axis motor of a cup mover so that an actual cup stop position become consistent with a predetermined cup stop position and deciding the corrected X-Y coordinate based on position signals obtained from an X-axis encoder and a Y-axis encoder according to the operation.
