Abstract: A multidimensional data visualization apparatus capable of visualizing a data distribution in an input space of high-dimensional data so as to enable understanding of relationships between input dimensions is provided. Low-dimensional parallel coordinates plot creation element 71 creates, from input multidimensional data, a plurality of low-dimensional parallel coordinates plots that are each a graph in which data relating to part of dimensions in the multidimensional data is represented by a parallel coordinates plot. Feature value computation element 72 computes, for each pair of low-dimensional parallel coordinates plots, a feature value indicating a relationship between the low-dimensional parallel coordinates plots forming the pair. Coordinate computation element 73 computes coordinates at which each low-dimensional parallel coordinates plot is arranged, based on the feature value computed by the feature value computation element 72.

  • Publication number: 20160316202
Abstract: According to an embodiment, an image decoding apparatus includes a memory, a decoder and a first filter. The memory stores reference pixels based on pixels included in a decoded pixel block. The decoder decodes encoded data in units of pixel blocks using the reference pixels to generate a first decoded pixel block, the first decoded pixel block being adjacent to the reference pixels. The first filter performs a first filtering on only the first decoded pixel block using the first decoded pixel block and part of the reference pixels perpendicularly adjacent to the first decoded pixel block in a scan direction of image decoding processing.

Abstract: According to an embodiment, a video compression apparatus includes a first compressor, a second compressor, a partitioner and a communicator. The first compressor compresses a first video to generate a first bitstream. The second compressor sets regions in a second video and compresses the regions so as to enable each region to be independently decoded, to generate a second bitstream. The partitioner partitions the second bitstream according to the set regions to obtain a partitioned second bitstream. The communicator receives region information indicating a specific region that corresponds to one or more regions and selects and transmits a bitstream corresponding to the specific region from the partitioned second bitstream.

  • Publication number: 20150138352
Abstract: According to an embodiment, an image processing device includes a processor and a memory. The processor acquires a first image captured at a first timing by an imager that is mounted on a movable body. The processor acquires a range image that represents a distance to a subject. The processor estimates a difference in viewpoint of the imager between at the first timing and at a second timing that is different than the first timing, based on movement information of the movable body. The processor generates a second image that is predicted to be captured by the imager at the second timing based on the first image, the range image, and the difference in viewpoint.

  • Publication number: 20140349755
Abstract: When a mobile terminal obtains a container upon movement of a display range, a processor increases points in a storage unit. When the mobile terminal opens a container obtained by movement of the display range or as a present from another mobile terminal, the processor opens the container at predetermined success percentages, and writes an item obtained from the opened container in the storage unit. When the mobile terminal presents a container without opening it, the processor transmits screen data indicating a present to the other mobile terminal. The processor converts an item in the storage unit into points to increase the points in the storage unit based on an operation of the user of the mobile terminal.

  • Publication number: 20140205018
Abstract: According to an embodiment, an image processing apparatus includes a first decoding unit, a selection unit and a generation unit. The first decoding unit generates a first decoded image by decoding first encoded data. The selection unit selects one of the first decoded image and the second decoded image for each display timing. The generation unit generates a display image to be displayed at a display timing for which the first decoded image is selected, based on the first decoded image. The second decoded image has a higher resolution than that of the first decoded image. The first decoded image and the second decoded image are different in either a frame rate or a display timing phase.

  • Patent number: 8656037
Abstract: Reduces time for processing a request Simple Object Access Protocol, SOAP, message in a request means such as mobile equipment or the like. Sequence definition means divides one parent SOAP message as one request concerning a Web Service into segments of a Simple Object Access Protocol header and a SOAP body. Segment creation means creates the segment of the Simple Object Access Protocol body of the parent SOAP message and the segment of the SOAP header of the parent Simple Object Access Protocol message in this order. Sending means executes sending processing in parallel with creation processing by the segment creation means. Specifically, the sending means assigns one child Simple Object Access Protocol message enveloping the content of a segment to each of the segments, and sends each of the child Simple Object Access Protocol messages to the provider in accordance with a creation sequence of the segments.

  • Patent number: 7774450
Abstract: The present invention creates a SOAP message without using DOM by generating a body part by sequentially performing such a process of a message as encryption or signing for each piece of the message, generating a header part by using information acquired during the process, and by combining the body part and the header part. The present invention also breaks a SOAP message without using DOM by acquiring header information with parsing a received SOAP message and sequentially performing decode or verification of a signature of a body part according to the header information.

  • Patent number: 7593012
Abstract: In a method of visualizing statistical data, to constantly provide drawing with excellent visibility by arranging rectangles corresponding to individual data in an order corresponding to section values of classes, and displaying a desired rectangle in a near square shape. With respect to the statistical data to be processed, a plurality of strip regions are formed in a region corresponding to an entire statistical data, and rectangles for representing individual data of the statistical data are arranged in the above described strip regions to generate image data of the region corresponding to the entire statistical data. With respect to sequences of the rectangles in the image data, the rectangles are rearranged in each of the strip regions such that the rectangles corresponding to the individual data adjacent to each other in the statistical data are also adjacent to each other in the image, and the image data is updated.
