  • Patent number: 10773567
Abstract: An evaluation device includes a set temperature evaluation portion, an ecological driving evaluation portion, and a notification portion. The set temperature evaluation portion determines a set temperature evaluation value based on a set temperature that is a target temperature. The ecological driving evaluation portion is configured to determine an ecological driving evaluation value based on at least the set temperature evaluation value. The notification portion is configured to notify the occupant of the ecological driving evaluation value. The level of power saving rises with change of the set temperature evaluation value or the ecological driving evaluation value. When the set temperature is changed, and the change of the set temperature causes increase of the level of power saving without decrease in power consumption of the vehicular air conditioner, the set temperature evaluation portion changes the set temperature evaluation value in the one of positive and negative directions.

  • Patent number: 9150080
Abstract: A cooling system of a battery which efficiently cools a high voltage battery which is mounted in an electric vehicle or a hybrid vehicle so as to maintain battery performance by using a refrigeration cycle of an air-conditioning system, which is provided with an electric compressor, outside heat exchanger, inside heat exchanger, and a control device. A refrigerant path of the air-conditioning system for running refrigerant is provided with a branch path having a heat exchanger which bypasses the inside heat exchanger, a medium path connected to the heat exchanger runs another refrigerant for cooling the battery, control valves are provided which adjust the amounts of the refrigerant which flows to the refrigerant path and the branch path, and, when the control valves run the refrigerant to both the refrigerant path and the branch path, the control device increases the speed of the electric compressor.

  • Patent number: 5018362
Abstract: An automotive air conditioner controller for controlling the operation of an automotive air conditioner employing a variable displacement compressor capable of gradually or continuously varying its displacement. While the engine of the automobile is idling, the automotive air conditioner controller adjusts the displacement of the compressor to or near to the maximum, varies desired idling speed of the engine according to required cooling ability, and adjusts the actual idling speed of the engine to the desired idling speed. Thus, the engine operates at an improved fuel consumption rate without reducing the cooling ability of the automotive air conditioner.
