Abstract: A relay control method for a computer to execute a process includes when receiving a waiting notification from a first device that provides an authentication, transitioning to a state where waiting is performed without transmitting a response to the waiting notification to the first device; receiving an authentication request from a second device that has a virtual environment; and in a case of a state where the authentication request is received and waiting is performed without transmitting the response to the waiting notification, transmitting the response to the received waiting notification, that includes the received authentication request, to the first device.

Abstract: There is provided a mobile communication device having a function capable of releasing lock on an IC card function by an authentication key other then a PIN if the IC card function is locked by a PIN authentication error in a mobile phone having a contactless IC card built in. When a PIN is locked in a mobile phone 1 having a contactless IC card built in, an IC application 11 is started up to transmit a second password other than a PIN to an authentication server 3. The authentication server 3 compares the second password received from the mobile phone 1 with another second password stored in a database 31. If both second passwords agree with each other, a PIN lock release command is transmitted to the mobile phone 1. Further, the mobile phone 1 switches the lock flag of the contactless IC card 13 to OFF from ON by the command received. The PIN lock of the IC card function is thereby released.

Abstract: An authentication information management apparatus manages authentication information for execution of authentication in an information processing device by utilizing a terminal device equipped with an IC card and a memory. The apparatus includes an identification information acquisition section that acquires identification information which is written in the IC card, and an authentication information setting section that retrieves stored authentication information corresponding to the identification information from the memory based on the identification information acquired by the identification information acquisition section, and sets up the IC card so that the retrieved authentication information is readable from the IC card.

Abstract: In a shop POS register terminal, a settlement request-generating unit generates settlement request information, which includes an amount of settlement. A request barcode is generated from the settlement request information, and the POS register terminal displays or prints the information. In a cell phone, the camera restores the settlement request information through the request barcode image. The amount of settlement is subtracted from a value charged to an IC chip. Settlement response information is generated, which includes the balance after settlement of the IC chip. Then a response barcode is generated from the settlement response information, and causes the cell phone to display the same. In the POS register terminal, the response barcode is read out to restore the settlement response information. Then an IC card settlement-ending unit confirms and causes the POS register terminal to print the receipt.

Abstract: In the shop POS register terminal, the settlement request generating unit generates settlement request information including an amount of settlement upon receipt of an operational input of IC card settlement; and the request barcode generating unit generates a request barcode from the settlement request information, and causes the POS register terminal to display on the screen or to print for output. In the cell phone, the request barcode restoring unit images the request barcode by the camera; the IC card settlement unit subtracts the amount of settlement of the restored settlement request information from the value charged to the IC chip of the cell phone; the settlement response generating unit generates settlement response information including a balance after settlement of the IC chip; and the response barcode generating unit generates a response barcode from the settlement response information, and causes the cell phone to display the same on the screen.
