  • Patent number: 7156530
Abstract: An antireflection film having a hard coat layer prepared on one side of a transparent substrate directly or through other layers, and further an antireflection layer laminated on a surface of the hard coat layer, wherein the antireflection layer is formed by a dry cured film obtained from a solution comprising a siloxane oligomer (A) obtained by condensation polymerization after partial hydrolysis of a hydrolyzable alkoxy silane that contains a tetra alkoxy silane represented by a general formula (1): Si(OR)4 (where R represents methyl group or ethyl group) as a principal component and a compound (B) having a fluoro alkyl structure and a polysiloxane structure, is excellent scratch-proof property, stain resistance, and cured in a short period of time at comparatively low temperature.

  • Publication number: 20060132922
Abstract: There are provided a hard-coated antiglare film with high hardness, high scratch resistance and good antiglare properties, a method of manufacturing the film, an optical element using the film, and an image display including the film or the optical element. The hard-coated antiglare film of the invention includes a transparent film substrate and a hard-coating layer that contains fine particles and is formed on at least one side of the transparent film substrate, wherein the hard-coating layer has a thickness of 15 ?m to 30 ?m, the fine particles have an average particle size of 30% to 75% of the thickness of the hard-coating layer, and the fine particles form unevenness with a ?a value of 0.4° to 1.5° according to JIS B 0601.

  • Publication number: 20060134400
Abstract: The invention is directed to a hard-coated film, comprising: a transparent film substrate; and a hard-coating layer formed on at least one side of the transparent film substrate, wherein the hard-coating layer is made from a material containing a urethane acrylate, a polyol (meth)acrylate and a (meth)acrylic polymer having an alkyl group containing at least two hydroxyl groups. There can be provided a hard-coated film that has high hardness and good flexibility and is resistant to curling due to hardening and shrinking and a method of manufacturing a hard-coated film in which a reduction in production efficiency associated with an increase in the number of manufacturing steps is prevented.

  • Publication number: 20060052565
Abstract: A curing resin composition which enables formation of an antireflection layer having good antiscratchability and a cured film obtained from such a curing resin composition are disclosed. The curing resin composition contains (A) a siloxane oligomer having an average molecular weight of 500-10000 in terms of ethylene glycol and (B) a fluorine compound having a number-average molecular weight of 5000 or more in terms of polystyrene and having a fluoroalkyl structure and a polysiloxane structure.

  • Publication number: 20050157407
Abstract: A light diffusing sheet of a structure in which a light diffusing layer is formed on at least one surface of a transparent film, the light diffusing layer including a resin coat layer having a minute unevenness shape and a low refractive index layer having a refractive index lower than that of the resin coat layer on the surface having a minute unevenness shape thereof, whereby the sheet can retain antiglare property, shows almost no white blurring to be recognized due to surface scattering, exhibits almost no birefringence, and is excellent in adherence and durability even when applied to a high definition LCD.

  • Publication number: 20050064142
Abstract: An optical diffusing layer includes a resin coated layer having a surface fine concavo-convex structure. An average of peak-to-peak distance (Sm), an average of center line surface roughness (Ra), and an average of ten-point surface roughness (Rz) on the surface with fine concavo-convex structure satisfy specified equations, and the optical diffusing layer is capable of maintaining antiglare property and screen glare simultaneously controlled, when applied to an LCD in which high definition is required.
