  • Publication number: 20040193442
Abstract: A price revising system is devised to assist a purchaser to revise a trading contract on a commodity when the prices of materials, parts, etc. for a commodity changes due to changes in market conditions. The price revising system supports the trading contract by prompting the entry of the selling party data, the commodity, and a price fluctuation amount and then calculating a monetary effect with respect to an existing or future order of the commodity according to the fluctuation amount. The price revising system then allows the ordering party to check the monetary effect and communicate the monetary effect to the seller(s). The price revising system then creates a price revision to detailed price data according to the fluctuation amount for the commodity, presents a display prompting the selling party to approve the price revision, and executes the price revision in accordance with information indicating that the selling party has approved the price revision.

  • Patent number: 6767322
Abstract: A cover glass frame as a second frame body mounting thereto a cover glass is fitted onto an objective lens frame, which is a first frame body mounting thereto a tip end lens and an objective lens as optical members, in a manner to be movable in a direction of optical axis, and is fixed after having been adjusted in position in the direction of optical axis. The objective lens frame and the cover glass frame thus fitted and fixed are fitted into and joined to a cylindrical member to constitute an imaging unit, which is then arranged in a tip end portion of an insertion part of an endoscope. Thereby, focus adjustment can be performed on the optical members, which are assembled into the imaging unit, and a tip end side portion of the insertion part of the endoscope can be made small in outer diameter to prevent entry of vapor into the imaging unit even when autoclave sterilization is carried out.

  • Publication number: 20040138594
Abstract: An endoscopic lithotripsy probe apparatus includes a probe, ultrasonic-vibration source, mechanical shock generation source, and switch-mechanism. The ultrasonic-vibration source is detachably attached to the probe to transmit an ultrasonic-vibration to the probe in a state in which the proximal end of the probe is connected to the ultrasonic-vibration source. The mechanical shock generation source, which is disposed on the side of the proximal end of the probe, applies a force to the ultrasonic-vibration source in a state in which the ultrasonic-vibration source is detached from the proximal end of the probe, and allows the ultrasonic-vibration source to collide with the proximal end of the probe so that a mechanical shock is applied to the probe. The switch-mechanism switches a state in which the ultrasonic-vibration from the ultrasonic-vibration source is transmitted to the probe and a state in which the mechanical shock from the mechanical shock generation source is transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20040116952
Abstract: A surgical instrument can be disinfected or sterilized, and has a rechargeable secondary battery incorporated therein. A distal treatment section of the surgical instrument is ultrasonically oscillated using the secondary battery as a driving power source and used to perform surgery on a living tissue. Electromagnetic energy generated by an energy generation unit located outside the surgical instrument is received by a reception coil incorporated in the surgical instrument with the surgical instrument held in noncontact with the energy generation unit. The electromagnetic energy is then converted into charging power with which the secondary battery is recharged. Thus, the surgical instrument can be readily recharged while left clean.

  • Publication number: 20040019347
Abstract: A plurality of handpieces used to perform an operation is connected to a main operation apparatus, which generates a driving signal, through connectors formed on the main apparatus. When an operator holds a handpiece he/she wants to use, an output line over which the driving signal is transmitted is routed to the held handpiece owing to an output of a sensor that detects a change in capacitance stemming from the hold. The operator therefore need not manually set a mode in which the driving signal is applied to the handpiece he/she wants to use. Moreover, a port number assigned to a port to which the output line is routed is indicated on a display device. The operator can readily identify the usable handpiece.
