    Abstract: At least one of a state and a storage amount of a battery is detected, and a battery output that can be outputted by the battery is calculated on the basis of it. A state of an electric motor is detected, and at least one of electric motor torque and electric motor output that can be outputted from the electric motor and maximal torque of the electric motor are calculated on the basis of it. A state of an engine is detected, and engine starting torque required to start the engine is calculated on the basis of it. An EV range in which the engine is cut off to be capable of driving with only the electric motor is set up on the basis of the calculated battery output, at least one of the calculated electric motor torque and electric motor output, and the calculated engine starting torque. In this case, the battery output is compared with the electric motor torque or electric motor output to select any lower one therefrom.

    Abstract: A power transmission apparatus 1 for a hybrid vehicle having an engine 6 and a motor 7 is provided with a planetary gear mechanism 31 configured to differentially rotate a sun gear 32, a carrier 36, and a ring gear 35. The sun gear 32 is connected to one of a first input shaft and a second input shaft and to the motor 7. The ring gear 35 is connected to a lock mechanism capable of stopping a rotation state. The carrier 36 is configured to transmit power to a counter shaft 14. The other of the first input shaft and the second input shaft is configured to transmit power to the counter shaft 14 without passing through the planetary gear mechanism 31.

    Abstract: A power output apparatus 1 to 1D including an engine 6, a motor 7, and a transmission 20 to 20D having two transmission shafts connected to the engine 6 is provided. The transmission includes a power combination mechanism 30 adapted so as to be able to rotate first to third elements differentially from each other. The first element is connected to any one of the two transmission shafts, the second element is connected to a driving shaft 9 or 9, and the third element is connected to the motor 7. The second element combines the power transmitted from the first element and the power transmitted from the third element, and transmits the combined power to the driving shaft 9 and 9. The other transmission shaft of the two transmission shafts transmits power to the driving shaft 9 or 9 without going via the power combination mechanism 30.

    Abstract: A lever fitting-type connector includes a first connector on which a fitting detection member is slidably mounted a second connector, which is adapted to be fitted into the first connector, and a connecting lever which is provided on either one of the first and second connectors for operating the first and second connectors from a provisionally fitted condition to a completely fitted condition to each other. The fitting detection member slides to a lock position so that the fitting detection member is engaged with a first engagement hole of the connecting lever to lock the connecting lever in the completely fitted condition. When the fitting detection member is positioned at the lock position, a lock confirmation portion of the fitting detection member is projected from both of the first engagement hole and a distal end face of the connecting lever.
