  • Publication number: 20210392784
Abstract: A heat dissipating structure includes a heat sink having a top surface and an opposing bottom surface. The heat dissipating structure further includes an insulating layer attached to the top surface of the heat sink. The heat dissipating structure also includes a wiring pattern disposed directly on the insulating layer. The heat dissipating structure further includes at least one heat-generating electronic component connected to the wiring pattern. An electronic control unit includes a heat dissipating structure having a heat sink and at least one heat-generating electronic component thermally coupled to the heat sink, and a print circuit board (PCB) located spaced from the top surface of the heat sink such that an air gap exists therebetween.

  • Patent number: 10432067
Abstract: A control circuit controls, based on detection values of Hall-effect sensors, an inverter circuit to activate a rotor. After the activation of the rotor, the control circuit controls the rotational speed of the rotor based on the detection value of the Hall-effect sensor. A sensor pin is arranged in a slot between a forward-wound portion and a reverse-wound portion of a U-phase winding. A sensor pin is arranged in a slot between a forward-wound portion and a reverse-wound portion of a V-phase winding. A sensor pin is located on one side in an axial direction with respect to the reverse-wound portion of the U-phase winding. The sensor pins are located respectively at two first positions.

  • Patent number: 9553529
Abstract: There is provided a motor controller including: a voltage generator that generates a voltage applied to a motor; a temperature detector that detects a temperature of a circuit; a rotation speed detector that detects a rotation speed of the motor; and a voltage controller that controls the voltage generator so as to generate a voltage of a duty ratio based on a speed instruction value, and that, in cases in which a temperature of an element configuring the circuit, computed based on the temperature of the circuit detected by the temperature detector, the rotation speed of the motor detected by the rotation speed detector, and a load of the circuit, reaches a predetermined threshold value or above, controls the voltage generator so as to generate a voltage of a duty ratio that is lower than the duty ratio based on the speed instruction value.

  • Patent number: 8487564
Abstract: A brushless motor controller is disclosed. The brushless motor controller includes a control unit and a drive timing generation unit. The control unit detects a load state of the motor. The drive timing generation unit generates a normal energizing timing determined by the rotational position of the rotor. Also, the drive timing generation unit generates an advancing angle energizing timing determined by the rotational position of the rotor and advanced by a predetermined amount from the normal energizing timing, generates a delay amount that changes in correspondence with the detected load state of the motor and the rotational speed of the rotor, and generates a final advancing angle energizing timing delayed by the delay amount from the advancing angle energizing timing.
