    Abstract: In a fuel injection valve, it is intended to enhance valve-closing responsivity while maintaining durability (anti wear property) of a collision portion between a stationary core and a movable core and valve-opening responsivity. An annular end face 106A of the movable core 106 in the fuel injection valve is provided with a collision portion 106C that collides to a stationary core 107 when the movable core is magnetically attracted toward the stationary core side and a non-collision portion that keeps a fluid gap between both cores at an area of an outer side or an inner side from the collision portion. The annular end faces of the stationary core and the movable core are coated with platings 30, 31 having anti wear property, and at least one of the platings of the stationary core and the movable core is formed in such a manner that the thickness thereof at the collision portion 106C is to be thicker and the thickness thereof at the non-collision portion is to be thinner.

    Abstract: In a fuel injection valve used for an internal combustion engine, a valve closing lag time due to fluid resistance in a fuel path is shortened to decrease a minimum injection limit. More specifically, in the fuel injection valve in which an anchor is attracted to an end face part of a stationary core having a fuel path formed at a center part thereof by means of electromagnetic force, and in which a fuel injection hole is opened and closed by controlling a valve disc driven in conjunction with the anchor, there are provided a fuel reservoir part at a center part of an upper end face part of the anchor, a through hole extending axially in a fashion that an end part thereof is open to the fuel reservoir part, and a fuel path extending radially outward from the fuel reservoir part so that fuel is fed to a magnetic attraction gap between an upper end face part of the anchor and a lower end face part of the stationary core.

    Abstract: A cylinder-shaped flow passage in which a first fluid flows includes an internal cylinder which is smaller in diameter than the flow passage. A swirl-generating stator having four vanes is radially fixed in the internal cylinder. A header space for supplying a second fluid is provided to the outer circumference of a wall surface of the internal cylinder in contact with flow separation areas which are formed along downstream surfaces of the swirl-generating stator as the first fluid runs into the swirl-generating stator. The wall surface of the internal cylinder is formed with openings through which the flow separation areas communicate with the header space. The second fluid supplied into the header space flows through the openings into the flow separation areas, and is diffused along the vanes of the swirl-generating stator to be swirled and mixed into the first fluid applied with swirling force by the swirl-generating stator.

    Abstract: An injector used for an internal combustion engine, wherein force acting on a valve element due to flow of fuel is reduced. The shape of either a valve element front end or a valve seat surface of a fuel injection valve is adapted such that the distance between the valve element front end and the valve seat surface which is formed by a circular conical surface is greater than in the case when the shape from a valve element circular tube surface to a spherical surface which forms a seat is connected by a circular arc. As a result, the cross-sectional area of a flow path is rapidly increased from the valve seat surface, on the outer side of the valve element, and this reduces that portion of the valve element which receives pressure due to a reduction in static pressure, reducing force acting on the valve element.

The pressurization chamber 111 is provided inside a valve body 110. The first pressure receiving surface 106a is one end surface of the pressurization piston 106 which faces one of the piston displacement directions 106d, that is, faces the first fuel chamber 107.
