    Abstract: A compressor includes a casing having a cylindrical portion, a compression mechanism fixed to an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion, an external portion, a weld nut, and a bolt. The external portion includes a temperature reaction portion that reacts to a temperature change of the cylindrical portion. The external portion is mounted on an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion. The weld nut is welded to the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion to mount the external portion on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion. The bolt fixes the external portion to the weld nut.

    Abstract: A blade 8 is integrally fixed to a roller 7 mounted around an eccentric section 22 of a drive shaft 21. The blade 8 extend radially outwardly of the roller 7, and partitions the inside of a cylinder chamber 41 into a compression chamber X and a suction chamber Y. A protruded end portion of the blade 8 is received in a reception groove 11a of a support member 11 which is pivotally supported by a stationary member 4. A substitute fleon refrigerant is used as a working fluid in the cylinder chamber 41, and an oil adapted to the substitute fleon refrigerant is used as a lubricating oil for a compressor CP. While using the substitute fleon refrigerant, the deterioration of the oil in the compressor is prevented.

    Abstract: In a horizontal type scroll compressor an external end of a volute (2b) of a fixed scroll (2) is extended near to an external end side of a volute (3b) of a movable scroll (3). By the extension of the volute (2b), inlet ports (22, 23) opening to compression rooms (RA, RB) respectively are disposed near to each other and are located at an upper level in a closed casing (1). An inlet passage (24) is formed at the top of a housing (4) which divides the closed casing (1) into a compression element chamber (12A) and a motor chamber (12B). The opening position of an inlet pipe (11) is displaced circumferentially with respect to the inlet passage (24). The inlet passage (24) is displaced circumferentially with respect to the inlet ports (22, 23) of the compression rooms (RA, RB). The inlet passage (24) is displaced forward in a traveling direction of the movable scroll (3) with respect to the inlet ports (22, 23).
