  • Publication number: 20240171874
Abstract: A photoelectric conversion device includes pixels each including a photoelectric conversion unit for generating charge by photoelectric conversion, first to fourth charge holding portions configured to be transferred charge from the photoelectric conversion unit, and an output unit for outputting a signal corresponding to charge transferred from one of the first to fourth charge holding portions, and a control circuit for controlling the plurality of pixels. The control circuit performs, during one frame, transferring charge in the photoelectric conversion unit to the first or second charge holding portion a plural times for each of the first and second charge holding portions in each of the pixels at the same time, and performs, during the one frame, reading out from each pixel a signal corresponding to charge in the third charge holding portion and a signal corresponding to charge in the fourth charge holding portion.

  • Publication number: 20240152219
Abstract: Provided is an electronic pen including an electronic pen body portion, an electronic pen housing being a cylindrical body housing the electronic pen body portion, a connector portion including a connector substrate, and a terminal portion including a base portion raised from the connector substrate in a direction crossing an axial direction and a contact portion extended to a back end side from a position separated from the connector substrate on a back end surface of the base portion, and a connector housing being a cylindrical body housing the connector portion and connected to a back end side of the electronic pen housing. A cross section of the connector housing in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction is substantially triangular. An axial center of the connector substrate coincides with an axial center of the electronic pen body portion when the connector housing is attached to the electronic pen housing.

  • Publication number: 20240147080
Abstract: In an image processing apparatus, an image signal of a plurality of polarized lights is input, for each set of image signals corresponding to the polarized lights, a maximum value of polarization intensities of polarization components of the image signals and a polarization angle at which the maximum value of the polarization intensities is obtained are found, and a target area to which polarization reduction is to be applied is found based on the image signal and a statistical area is set in the target area. Representative intensity and angle which are modes of the polarization intensities and angles of the sets included in the statistical area are found, and first correction processing for correcting each image signal of the sets included in the target area is performed using the representative intensity and angle according to the polarization angle of the each image signal.

  • Publication number: 20240103649
Abstract: A cartridge-type electronic pen main body includes a conductive center electrode and a peripheral electrode disposed around the center electrode. The peripheral electrode includes a tapered part on a pen tip side and a cylindrical shaped part on an opposite side along an axial direction. When the cartridge-type electronic pen main body is in use, one end of the center electrode forming a pen tip is projected to the outside from an opening of a cylindrical housing of an electronic pen, and a portion of the tapered part of the peripheral electrode is also projected to the outside such that both the one end of the center electrode and the portion of the tapered part of the peripheral electrode are projected beyond a distal end of the cylindrical housing to capacitively couple with a sensor surface while the cylindrical shaped part of the peripheral electrode remains within the cylindrical housing.

  • Publication number: 20240103670
Abstract: A capacitive electronic pen includes a housing, a core body, and a peripheral electrode. In the capacitive electronic pen, the core body includes an electrode core formed of a conductor having a spherical section and a shaft center section. The spherical section of the electrode core is not surrounded by the peripheral electrode and is disposed on a tip (distal) end of the capacitive electronic pen protruding from one opening in the axial direction of the housing. The shaft center section of the electrode core has multiple portions that vary in thickness (a cross-section size) including a thin portion, which coupled with the spherical section, and a thick portion. When the core body is fitted to the core body holder, at least a portion of the shaft center section of the electrode core is thinner than the diameter of the spherical section of the electrode core.

  • Publication number: 20240103648
Abstract: In a case in which an electronic pen main unit made into a cartridge is held movably in a casing, electrical connections between the electronic pen main unit and electronic circuit components of the casing are reliably established. The electronic pen main unit is fitted to a fitting part disposed in a casing of an electronic pen in which the pen tip side is made to be an opening and is housed in a state of being movable in a hollow part of the casing by a movement mechanism that moves the fitting part in the axial center direction of the casing.
