Patent number: 8142660Abstract: A filtrate monitoring device and a filtrate monitoring system, which can monitor a membrane-type water filtrating/purifying system at all times and which can flexibly adjust themselves to the contents and sizes of impurities, are provided. The filtrate monitoring device monitors the filtrate having passed through the membrane-type water filtrating/purifying device. The filtrate monitoring device comprises: imaging/detecting means for shooting images in the filtrate having passed through the filtrating/purifying device, on the filtrate flowing in an observation bath of a filtrate observing cell disposed midway of the branched filtrate pipeline, thereby to specify the particles contained in the filtrate, and/or optical detecting means disposed midway of the filtrate pipeline before or after branching.Type: GrantFiled: October 19, 2007Date of Patent: March 27, 2012Assignee: Hirata CorporationInventors: Seigo Murakami, Takenori Hirakawa, Takafumi Iseri

Patent number: 8100413Abstract: A workpiece vacuum chuck head, which serves to vacuum-chuck a light, minute workpiece and to release and place the vacuum-chucked workpiece on a workpiece placement surface, includes a base section, a workpiece vacuum chuck section, and a follower mechanism section for connecting together the base section and the workpiece vacuum chuck section. These sections form an integral structure. The base section has an attachment surface for attaching the workpiece vacuum chuck head to a head drive mechanism. The workpiece vacuum chuck section has a workpiece vacuum chuck surface and a negative-pressure chamber, which opens at the workpiece vacuum chuck surface via a suction hole. The follower mechanism section has a structure that is easily elastically deformable, and is appropriately deformed in a three-dimensional space so as to cause the workpiece vacuum chuck surface to follow an inclination of the workpiece placement surface.Type: GrantFiled: August 5, 2005Date of Patent: January 24, 2012Assignee: Hirata CorporationInventors: Tetsunori Otaguro, Takenori Hirakawa

Patent number: 6941645Abstract: An automatic piston inserting equipment comprises a block positioning means for positioning a cylinder block B to a piston inserting position, a piston positioning means for moving and positioning a piston P with a connecting rod R for insertion thereof into a cylinder bore formed in the cylinder block B vertically from above, a cap positioning means for moving and positioning a connecting rod cap C to clamp it vertically from below to the connecting rod R inserted into the cylinder bore, a damp means for damping the connecting rod cap C to the connecting rod R, and a vision system. The vision system detects central position coordinates of the cylinder bore lying at the piston inserting position and central position coordinates of the piston P lying at a start-point chuck position, and on the basis of both such central position coordinates calculates a movement quantity for insertion of the piston P into the cylinder bore.Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 2003Date of Patent: September 13, 2005Assignees: Hirata CorporationInventors: Kazuhiro Kosuge, Katsuyoshi Tachibana, Yuichiro Ueda, Takenori Hirakawa

Patent number: 6880237Abstract: A work chucking/inserting device for chucking and inserting a work into an insertion hole (cylinder bore) in alignment with the hole, including three or more chuck fingers, the chuck fingers being arranged in circumferentially spaced positions and mounted for advancing and retracting radially. Inner surfaces of the chuck fingers serve as chuck surfaces for chucking the work, and outer surfaces of the chuck fingers are tapered at least at tip end portions radially inward toward the tips for contact with an inlet of the insertion hole. The work chucking/inserting device further includes a tracer mechanism which causes the axis of a conical surface defined by the outer surfaces of the chuck fingers to become aligned with the axis of the insertion hole when the outer surfaces of the chuck fingers contact the inlet of the insertion hole. A pushing mechanism is included for pushing the work toward the insertion hole.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 2001Date of Patent: April 19, 2005Assignees: Hirata CorporationInventors: Kazuhiro Kosuge, Katsuyoshi Tachibana, Takahide Nakayama, Takenori Hirakawa, Takeshi Mitsunaga

Patent number: 6315513Abstract: In order to provide an automated warehouse having high space utilization efficiency, high floor area utilization efficiency, and high loading/unloading efficiency and a method of managing the warehouse, a transfer unit is placed above a stocking area, a holding unit of the transfer unit can move three-dimensionally, and an elevating unit of the transfer unit, which holds a stock object and raises/lowers it, raises/lowers a stock object without making it roll. This transfer unit holds a stock object in a loading area, and transfers the loaded stock object over stock objects stored in the stocking area. The transfer unit then lowers this stock object from above and stacks it flat or on another stock object. When an object is to be unloaded, the transfer unit holds the stock object from above and transfers it to an unloading area through the air.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 1999Date of Patent: November 13, 2001Assignee: Hirata CorporationInventors: Sumio Harukawa, Masao Toyama, Yukiharu Tokisato, Takenori Hirakawa, Atsuhiko Iijima
