  • Patent number: 11977146
Abstract: To provide a radar device capable of detecting a position of a target in a direction orthogonal to a viewing angle. In a radar device which detects a target by using a radio wave, the radar device includes: a receiving array antenna (receiving array antenna 17) where a plurality of receiving antenna elements (first receiving antenna 17-1 to eighth receiving antenna 17-8) each having a predetermined length in a first direction are arranged to be disposed in a second direction almost orthogonal to the first direction; a dispersion part (dispersion part 31) which is disposed in a vicinity of the receiving array antenna, and dispersion properties of the radio wave change with respect to the first direction; and a detection part (control and process part 15) which detects the position of the target in the first direction based on the radio wave reflected by the dispersion part.

  • Patent number: 11635462
Abstract: This application discloses a computing system implementing an automatic test pattern generation tool to convert a transistor-level model of a library cell describing a digital circuit into a switch-level model of the library cell, generate test patterns configured to enable detection of target defects injected into the switch-level model of the library cell, and bifurcate the test patterns into a first subset of the test patterns and a second set of the test patterns based on detection types for the target defects enabled by the test patterns. The computing system can implement a cell model generation tool to perform an analog simulation of the transistor-level model of the library cell using the second subset of the test patterns to verify that they enable detection of target defects, while skipping performance of the analog simulation of the transistor-level model of the library cell using the first subset of the test patterns.

  • Patent number: 10570794
Abstract: An electrically heated catalyst device that can uniformly heat a catalyst via comb-shaped electrodes even when current is repeatedly made to flow through the electrodes. The device includes a carrier having a metal catalyst supported thereon, a pair of comb-shaped electrodes each having wire portions, a base layer between each comb-shaped electrode and the carrier, and a fixation layer for fixing each wire portion on the base layer. The fixation layer is rectangular in shape when the outer peripheral surface of the carrier is seen from a direction orthogonal to the central axis of the carrier along the longitudinal direction of the device. A pair of opposite first sides of the fixation layer are parallel with the extending direction of each wire portion on opposite sides thereof, and a pair of second sides coupling opposite ends of the first sides are orthogonal to the extending direction of each wire portion.

  • Patent number: 10372855
Abstract: Various aspects of the disclosed technology relate to techniques of selecting scan cells from state elements for partial scan designs. Signal probability values for logic gates in a circuit design are first determined. Based on the signal probability values, next-state capture probability values for state elements in the circuit design are computed. Based on the next-state capture probability values, scan cells are selected from the state elements. Scan cells may be further selected based on continuously-updated control weight values and observation weight values associated with the state elements.

  • Patent number: 9421495
Abstract: To provide a catalytic converter that reduces non-uniformity of temperature of a catalyst support and that can approach a uniform temperature distribution, and a structural body for supporting a catalyst that structures this catalytic converter. At a catalyst support, gradually decreasing width portions, at which a width thereof gradually decreases toward electrode centers, are formed at regions where electrodes, are contactingly disposed, as seen in a cross-section orthogonal to a direction in which exhaust flows. The width is shorter than a length of a center line at a given position. Heat generation and heat dissipation of the catalyst support are balanced overall.

  • Patent number: 8527232
Abstract: Methods of diagnostic test pattern generation for small delay defects are based on identification and activation of long paths passing through diagnosis suspects. The long paths are determined according to some criteria such as path delay values calculated with SDF (Standard Delay Format) timing information and the number of logic gates on a path. In some embodiments of the invention, the long paths are the longest paths passing through a diagnosis suspect and reaching a corresponding failing observation point selected from the failure log, and N longest paths are identified for each of such pairs.

  • Patent number: 8375334
Abstract: Predetermined travel locuss are set in a three-dimensional virtual space. Menu panels displaying menu items are arranged along the travel locuss assuming a display position set as a local origin so that the normal to each LCD panel will face a virtual camera. The transparency of a menu panel is raised in accordance with its distance to the virtual camera. A scroll operation moves menu panels along the travel locuss connecting display positions P until a selected specific menu panel reaches the display position P0. A display screen is drawn with the virtual camera and menu panels are three-dimensionally displayed in rolls. By sliding a stylus pen on the LCD panel, the menu screen displayed on the LCD panel scrolls at a velocity corresponding to the drag velocity. When the stylus pen is released from the LCD panel, an application program corresponding to the menu display entity (crosshatched) is activated.

  • Patent number: 8011336
Abstract: In a variable valve opening property internal combustion engine, a roller link (22) is provided with a cam roller (31) at a free end thereof which engages a cam (3) of a camshaft (4) and a pressure surface (47) of a spring device (41). The roller link is pivotally supported by a bearing portion of a control link (21) which can be adjusted in position by using an actuator (14). The roller link is additionally provided with a roller shaft (31) that engages a slipper surface of a rocker arm (6). The pressure surface of the spring device may be contoured or otherwise inclined so that the direction of action of the spring device on the cam roller can be directed in an optimum direction irrespective of the adjusted position of the pivot point of the roller link.

  • Patent number: 7625516
Abstract: A manufacturing method for a sheet molded body having a desired three dimensional shape and an excellent quality of the design, which has no crease, by uniformly expanding a decorated sheet prior to molding, and closely contacting the decorate sheet to the surface of a male die. In the manufacturing method, the pressure at the front side of the decorated sheet is lowered relative to that at the back side. An arm means is then moved towards the decorated sheet from the back side of the decorated sheet so that the decorated sheet is inverted by increasing the pressure at the front side relative to that at the back side. The decorated sheet is then three dimensionally formed along the surface of the male die by, while pressing the male die from the back side and moving the arm means backwards, increasing the pressure at the front side.

  • Patent number: 7536994
Abstract: An air-fuel ratio of an air-fuel mixture produced by fuel injected from a first injector into an intake port (or into a combustion chamber) is set in a range of 28 to 38. Therefore, when the temperature and pressure rise with a first combustion started by spark-ignition around a spark plug to the fuel injected from a second injector into the combustion chamber, the timing of starting a second compressive hypergolic ignition is optimized to provide a stable combustion state free of knocking and misfire.

  • Publication number: 20090090323
Abstract: In a variable valve opening property internal combustion engine, a control shaft (20) is supported by a control link (21) which is in turn is pivotally supported by a cylinder head (1), and a roller link (22) is pivotally supported by the control shaft. The roller link is provided with a cam roller (31) that engages a cam (3) of a camshaft (4) and a roller shaft (32) that engages a slipper surface (33) of a rocker arm (6). The arcuate movement of the cam roller centered around the control shaft varies the swing of the rocker arm and hence the valve lift in dependence on the position of the control shaft. A compression coil spring (41) is interposed between a part of the cylinder head and a side of the cam roller facing away from the cam. The coil spring is oriented such that a direction of a spring force (Fspg) substantially coincides with a direction of a guided movement of the cam roller, preferably in a low valve lift condition.
