Abstract: The present invention provides a polymer-combined drug having directional characteristics to digestive organs, wherein it comprises a medicine combined with a polymer which has an alkyleneoxy group as a repeating unit. The polymer-combined drug is produced by reacting a polyoxyalkylene glycol having one or more terminal functional groups and a medicine, if necessary in a solvent, and if necessary in the presence of a catalyst. It is able to administer the drug orally or by intravenous injection so as to maintain the concentration in blood stably for a long time, and to absorb or take in digestive organs such as the stomach and intestines directly.

Abstract: A light curable dental composition is provided. The composition comprises an ethylenic unsaturated compound and a light polymerization initiator. The light polymerization initiator is a combination of an .alpha.-diketone and a polyperoxy ester containing a benzophenone group and represented by the general formula (I) of: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.1 ' represent a tertiary alkyl group or a tertiary aralkyl group and R.sub.2 and R.sub.2 ' represent a hydrogen atom, a tertiary alkoxy group or a tertiary aralkyloxy group.

Abstract: A light curable dental liquid or paste comprises an ethylenic unsaturated monomer, a light polymerization initiator and an organic filler. The light polymerization initiator is a combination of an organic peroxide and a pyrylium salt compound of: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group and the like, X stands for an oxygen or sulfur atom and Y for an anionic functional group.

Abstract: Counterflow heat exchanger with a floating plate, which comprises a casing made of a pair of rectangular parallel-spaced wall members and four pieces of bar members connecting the corresponding corners of the pair of wall members, a pair of seal strips located inside said bar members through elastic members diagonally with regard to a line connecting the centers of the wall members, being extended so as to cover and seal a pair of the sides formed by a longer side of the wall members and the bar members, leaving a part of the sides uncovered. More than two sheets of floating plates are spaced apart from each other contained in a space formed by the seal strips and wall members. A spacer in a channel is formed between the floating plates, and a structure for controlling the flow of fluids within the channels is included. By making fluids having different temperatures flow countercurrently to each other through the channels, efficiency of heat exchange of the heat exchanger can be improved.

Abstract: A device for providing coil springs carried by a rope wound about a rotatable drum to a prescribed position, one by one, comprises a separation mechanism having a guide hole in which a prescribed number of coil springs are received, a pair of movable plates to pull the rope, a pair of moving plates holding the coil spring fallen from the guide hole and a pair of blades for cutting the rope after the rope is pulled.
