  • Patent number: 6273610
Abstract: There is disclosed a package including a box body having an opening and a cover member for closing the opening of the box body. The box body is formed of a packaging material of a soft sheet having a monolayer of a resin film or a multi-layer structure having a resin film. The box body includes: a rectangular bottom face portion; four side face portions folded from the four sides of the bottom face portion; corner sealing portions formed by jointing the inner faces of the side face portions at corner portions between the adjoining side face portions; flange portions folded outward of the box body from the upper ends of the side face portions substantially at a right angle thereto and with a predetermined width size; and flange jointing portions jointing the flange portions folded from the side face portions without any clearance between each other at the upper ends of the corner portions between the adjoining side face portions.

  • Patent number: 6250495
Abstract: A wet tissue product composed of a stacked body of folded wet tissues and a container or package housing the stacked body is disclosed. The folded wet tissues fall into two groups; a first-group of folded wet tissues and a second-group of folded wet tissues. Each of the first-group of folded wet tissues is formed by folding a plane wet tissue in two generally along a centerline thereof to have an upper half and a lower half, and each of the second-group of folded wet tissues is formed by folding a plane wet tissue with one edge thereof upward and the other edge thereof downward, to have an upper folded portion, a lower folded portion and an intermediate portion.

  • Patent number: 6196390
Abstract: A wet tissue product composed of a stacked body of folded wet tissues and a container or package housing the stacked body in which each of the folded wet tissues is formed by folding a plane wet tissue with one edge thereof upward and the other edge thereof downward along folding line portions to have an upper folded portion, a lower folded portion and an intermediate portion between the upper and lower folded portions. The folded wet tissues are consecutively combined such that the folding line portion forming the lower folded portion of the upper wet tissue is sandwiched between the upper folded portion and the intermediate portion of the succeeding lower wet tissue.

  • Patent number: 6109430
Abstract: A wet tissue product composed of a stacked body of folded wet tissues and a container or package housing the stacked body in which each of the folded wet tissues is formed by folding a plane wet tissue with opposite edges thereof to the same side along folding line portions to have a first folded portion, a second folded portion and an intermediate portion between the upper and lower folded portions. The folded wet tissues are consecutively combined such that the folding line portion forming the second folded portion of the upper wet tissue is sandwiched between the first folded portion and the intermediate portion of the lower wet tissue, and the second folded portion of the upper wet tissue and the first folded portion of the lower wet tissue are in face-to-face contact with each other.

  • Patent number: 5918735
Abstract: A package for stacked sheets to be freely taken out one by one. The stacked sheets are deformed to have their two longitudinal end portions close to each other and to have a recess, and the two end portions are arranged in common planes in the vertical direction. The stacked sheets is enabled to have a generally square top plan shape and to have a small height so that they can be packaged compactly. The sheet to be taken out is pinched upward while being held between the two sides of the recess, and the two sides of the recess are in parallel with the face of an outlet of the envelope. A sheet next to the sheet to be pulled out comes into abutment with the face of the outlet of the envelope at the two sides of the recess so that the sheets are not taken out in a gang.

  • Patent number: 5699912
Abstract: A container for wetted tissues comprises a container body, a stationary lid member and a movable lid member each molded from a suitable synthetic resin material. The stationary lid member fits on the container body to close an upper opening of the container body and the movable lid member is hinged to the stationary lid member so as to cover an opening formed substantially in a central zone of the stationary lid member through which the wetted tissues will be picked out. Any one of an upper surface of the stationary lid member and an inner surface of the movable lid member is provided with an elastic strip fixed across the hinged portion. As the movable lid member is closed, the elastic strip is curved generally in a U-shape or .OMEGA.-shape within a space defined between the inner surface of the movable lid member and the upper surface of the stationary lid member and thereby charged with an elastic energy biasing the movable lid member to be opened.
