  • Patent number: 5209882
Abstract: In a first forming stage, the bottom portion of a mono-molded plastic syringe (a type wherein the whole portion, i.e., a main syringe body and a needle portion, is molded unitedly in a cast) is heated and then stretched to a certain length, forming the edge portion like a needle, while the syringe is intermittently moved. Then the sryinge is carried to a second forming stage, where the syringe is moved intermittently and the needle portion is heated, then it is bent at a certain angle and is cut in a certain length, forming a completed syringe.

  • Patent number: 4621368
Abstract: Fast and deep fading tends to occur in the communication between a fixed base station and a mobile station which is carried on an automobile travelling in an urban area. When connection control signals or other digital code pattern need to be transmitted between the mobile station and the fixed station, it is necessary to provide a protection system against fading. This invention relates to a protection system of the type wherein a transmitter repeats identical information for plural times and by inverting polarity. The bit error rate against fading will be thus improved and moreover, even if there is a deviation in the pattern arrangement of codes, the DC component unbalance may be avoided. The receiver evaluates the receiving condition and receives selectively the identical information which has been repeatedly transmitted. The invention provides plural circuit systems which are effective for evaluation and selection.

  • Patent number: 4397036
Abstract: A diversity system utilizing a plurality of branches has been found for an angle modulated digital signal transmission. The received signal on each branch is modulated with a local signal which has the same period as the digital signal, and satisfies the orthogonal relationship with each other. The modulated signals are combined by simply summing them, and the combined signal is differentially detected. In the case of two branches, said orthogonal local signals are .sqroot.2/T.multidot. sin (2.pi./T)t, and .sqroot.2/T.multidot. cos (2.pi./T)t, where T is the bit duration of the digital signal, and said local modulation is the amplitude modulation. The present invention can provide the same diversity effect as the prior maximal ratio combining system, although the present invention does not utilize a complicated cophasing means between each branches.

  • Patent number: 4223405
Abstract: In a multitransmitter digital signaling system for mobile communications consisting of a plurality of base stations, different waves are superposed on the digital information signals in adjacent base stations and carrier waves of the same frequency are angularly modulated by the superposed signals at the same modulation index and simultaneously transmitted from the base stations to one service area.

  • Patent number: 4080602
Abstract: This invention is concerned with a remote control trans-receiver system in which a transmitter having a single channel is used for transmitting information to a remote receiver adapted to receive the information for controlling the movements of a toy vehicle. The single transmitting channel includes means to provide modulated information onto a carrier wave for controlling the forward, rightward and leftward movements of the toy vehicle, and a switching device for preventing the transmission to the receiver of any modulating information to permit stopping of the forward movement of the vehicle and to enable, when desired, reverse movement of the toy vehicle. The receiver detects the modulated information, when present, for effecting forward, rightward or leftward movement of the toy vehicle. The receiver further includes a switching device which responds to the absence of a modulating signal on the carrier to stop and then reverse the direction of travel of the toy vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4057758
Abstract: A diversity system in a mobile radio communication system provided with a plurality of antenna systems operating over a multipath medium in at least one of the sending path and the receiving path. At the sending path, a carrier wave frequency- or phase-modulated by a digital baseband signal is transmitted from a transmitting antenna. A plurality of receiving antenna systems are switched at a constant frequency higher than the signaling rate of the digital baseband signal but less than the frequency shift width of the frequency modulated wave or less than a product of the maximum phase shift of the phase modulated wave and the signaling rate, so that average-power dispersion in a signal element of the digital baseband signal received at the receiving antenna systems is effectively compressed. Alternatively, the plurality of antennas may be transmitting antennas, and switched at the same rate to achieve compression of average power dispersion in the baseband signal elements.

  • Patent number: 4032846
Abstract: A unique carrier frequency allocation in a digital mobile communication system having a service area consisting of a number of radio coverage zones is disclosed. A single standard carrier frequency is used in the service area but the carrier frequencies are arranged to be slightly shifted relative to each other for stations in adjacent radio coverage zones in order to improve the receiving efficiency in a region covered by overlapping zones. The invention defines a condition for the shift frequencies for the radio coverage zones.
