  • Patent number: 5437035
Abstract: A method and apparatus for analyzing a DO-statement to determine the type of a DO-variable and for determining whether a sign of an incrementation parameter at the time of compile can be determined are provided in a DO-loop object code generator in a compiler to select an object code generating method corresponding to the state of the DO-loop. As a result, object codes fitted to each DO-loop are generated which are so efficient as to improve the iteration count according to the ANSI standard, saving of use of registers, elimination of unnecessary calculation and the like.

  • Patent number: 5380789
Abstract: A catalyst selected from a perfluorosulfonic acid and an anhydride thereof enables a non-conjugated drying oil to react with a phenol to form a phenol-added vegetable oil without causing hydrolysis of the non-conjugated drying oil. The phenol-added vegetable oil is allowed to react with an aldehyde to form a vegetable oil-modified phenolic resin. A laminate produced by impregnating paper with the vegetable oil-modified phenolic resin and laminating and molding the impregnated paper is excellent in low temperature punching quality and electrical properties and is free from low molecular weight components oozing out the surface of the laminate.

  • Patent number: 5220597
Abstract: Disclosed is a dialing apparatus used for a power failure extension telephone set 30 in a key telephone system. The power failure extension telephone set 30 is driven by power supplied from a key service unit 2 so as to function as an extension telephone set when power is supplied to the key service unit 2, but directly connected to an office telephone line 1 so as to function as an individual telephone set when power is not supplied to the key service unit 2. The dialing apparatus comprises a dial switch 31 of single contact-layer structure and a control switch circuit 21 connected to the dial switch 31 and changed over according to the power supply or power failure condition of the key service unit. That is, when power is supplied to the key service unit 2, the control switch circuit 21 connects the dial switch 31 to a control circuit 19.

  • Patent number: 5048091
Abstract: A talker speech level control circuit for controlling the level of an electric signal converted from a talker speech, includes an acoustic-electric conversion element for converting an acoustic input signal into an electric signal; a talker speech level detection circuit for detecting whether or not the speech level of an output signal from the conversion element is within an area representing a need for speech level control; and a talker speech level adjustment circuit responsive to a signal detected by the talker speech level detection circuit for controlling the electric signal level in accordance with the detected area within which the talker speech level falls.

  • Patent number: 4764954
Abstract: A loud-speaker telephone set includes a switching control circuit to attenuate the incoming signal, during transmission, and to attenuate the outgoing signal, during reception, in order to prevent feedback from the loud-speaker to the microphone. An automatic gain control circuit is added which detects at least one of the incoming signal level and the outgoing signal level and which adjusts the attenuation of both the incoming and outgoing signals so as to reduce the attenuation change between reception and transmission below 20 dB and eliminate the unpleasant sensation, to a user, of large attenuation changes.

  • Patent number: 4133801
Abstract: A process for the preparation of polyesters by reacting a di-lower alkyl ester of a dicarboxylic acid consisting mainly of terephthalic acid with an alkylene glycol consisting mainly of ethylene glycol or tetramethylene glycol and thereafter polycondensing an obtained di-glycol ester of the dicarboxylic acid and/or a low molecular weight condensate thereof, in the presence of (A) a lower alkyl p-formylbenzoate in an amount of about 50 - 1000 ppm, (B) a di-lower alkyl isophthalate in an amount of about 50 - 1000 ppm and (C) p-toluic acid and/or a mono-lower alkyl terephthalate in an amount of more than about 30 ppm, wherein the total amount of the compounds (A), (B) and (C) is not more than about 2000 ppm, to thereby form polyesters which have good qualities and excellent melt-forming properties.
