  • Publication number: 20160138032
Abstract: It has been found that introducing into a Poaceae plant an Hd3a gene, which is a flower-bud-formation inducing gene, positioned downstream of a promoter whose expression is induced by a plant activator treatment makes it possible to control the flowering time of the Poaceae plant in accordance with a plant activator treatment timing. It has been found that further introducing a Ghd7 gene, which functions to suppress flower bud formation, into the plant makes it possible to suppress the expression of an endogenous Hd3a gene and increase the efficiency of controlling the flowering time.

  • Patent number: 6411021
Abstract: To eliminate the need for a cap provided only for coloring the light of a wedge-base bulb, and to eliminate the requirement for a multi-colored front lens of a vehicle identification lamp, a colored coating is formed on the surface of a glass bulb of a wedge-base bulb. The bulb is dipped in a color coating and a rib and/or groove is provided between the bulb and a base portion of the wedge-base bulb to prevent the coating from adhering to the base portion where terminals are disposed.

  • Patent number: 5953934
Abstract: In a refrigerant circulating apparatus, a liquid accumulating container for allowing oil droplets to flow out in suspended form is connected between a condenser and a pressure reducing device. Thus, refrigerating machine oil which flowed out from a compressor can be reliably returned to the compressor, and proper lubricating and sealing functions can be maintained for the compressing elements.

  • Patent number: 5799503
Abstract: In an accumulator, an oil collecting pipe is held in a sealed vessel with the lower end thereof closed, the pipe has a plurality of oil collecting apertures spaced in a vertical direction and a communication port for communicating with a discharge pipe. The communication port is disposed in the vicinity of the lowermost oil collecting aperture or to the downstream side of the aperture. Therefore, excessive liquid refrigerant flow from the accumulator is prevented even if a large amount of the liquid refrigerant resides in the sealed vessel.

  • Patent number: 4957455
Abstract: A connector socket for a wedge-base lamp is improved by socket structures which aid in leading the base end of the bulb into alignment with the insertion channel and at the same time prevent contact between the base end and the top ends of the socket terminals in a way which might lead to wrenching or deformation of the terminals.

  • Patent number: 4047262
Abstract: Device for eliminating a clearance at the center where a pair of curtains of the center draw type are overlapped. The device can be interposed between two straight curtain rods aligned end-to-end to detachably interconnect the curtain rods and comprises two connecting rails joined together side by side. Each of the rails includes a straight end portion to be connected to the corresponding curtain rod, a bent portion continuous with the straight end portion, and an extension continuously extending from the end of the bent portion deviated sidewise by a distance equal to the width of the rail so as to position in parallel to the straight end portion. The curtains on the opposite curtain rods are movable toward each other along the connecting rails to overlap each other at the bent portions and extensions.
