  • Publication number: 20070069722
Abstract: It is possible to simplify the cooling mechanism of a superconductor, significantly reduce the cost, simplify the measurement work, and reduce the time required for measurement. A beam current meter includes: a cylindrical super conductor beam current sensor arranged in a vacuum vessel in such a manner that the beam incoming into the vacuum vessel is guided to pass through a bore of the vacuum vessel and a bridge portion is formed at the outer diameter, a SQUID arranged at the bridge portion of the beam current sensor; a cylindrical superconductor magnetic shield arranged so as to surround the external diameter side of the beam current sensor in such a manner that the SQUID is positioned between the beam current sensor and the magnetic shield, so that a beam is guided to pass through the bore of the beam current sensor, thereby measuring the beam the beam current of the beam. The beam current meter uses a freezing device as cooling means for cooling the beam current sensor, the SQUID, and the magnetic shield.

  • Patent number: 7180551
Abstract: An operation for selecting a desired one of images can be simplified. Still image data sets are sequentially read from a recording medium according to order of file names and displayed on a TV. Upon display, the still image data sets are in a non-selection state. If an instruction is not input from a remote controller within a predetermined time since the display of one of the still image data sets, the still image data set being displayed is set to a selection state and the following still image data set having the file name that comes next is displayed. If an instruction is input from the remote controller for display of the following still image data set within the predetermined time, the still image data set being displayed is left in the non-selection state, and the following still image data set is displayed.

  • Patent number: 7040763
Abstract: A simple cooling construction capable of achieving two functions at a time is to be provided, one function being cooling a lamp as a lighting means and the other function being preventing the scatter of broken pieces of the lamp upon burst of the lamp. An image display device such as an LCD projector has been configured such that cooling air is introduced into the interior of a reflector to cool an lamp means. In this connection, the present invention adopts a net of an expanded metal structure which serves as both means for preventing the scatter of broken pieces of a lamp upon burst of the lamp and an air deflecting plate facing a portion to be cooled. The above two functions can be attained simultaneously by such a simple construction.

  • Publication number: 20050187670
Abstract: A three dimensional road-vehicle modeling system includes a personal computer to store data on three dimensional road and virtual vehicle model, a real time simulator to run a simulation based on the data and model, and an actual test parts. A three dimensional course line of a vehicle is set on the three dimensional road. The simulator converts the three dimensional course line on the three dimensional road into a two dimensional course line on a two dimensional plane determined based on inclination of the three dimensional road and then converts the two dimensional course line into a straight course line corresponding to a three dimensional road model on the two dimensional plane based on hypothetical external force acting on the vehicle. These three dimensional road and virtual vehicle models are used to evaluate compatibility between the actual parts and the test vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20050007788
Abstract: Reduction of noise is achieved by devising an arrangement of heat generating parts such as a light bulb element, an electric power source, a light source, etc. and an arrangement of cooling fans. In cooling the light source, the electric power source and liquid crystal panels, a cooling wind path for the liquid crystal panels and the electric power source is made separate from and independent of a cooling wind path for the light source that generates much heat, a cooling air volume is optimized for the respective cooling wind paths, and noise accompanying the rotation of the cooling fans is reduced. Also, by arranging the cooling fans substantially centrally of the respective cooling wind paths, that volume of noise, which leaks from air intake ports and air exhaust port that are opened to a housing of a unit, is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20030090690
Abstract: Predetermined processing such as image processing is carried out on image data without carrying out a troublesome operation. A folder F in a hard disc 2 of a personal computer 1 is related to processing for calculating image processing parameters P used in image processing on image data sets S input by an image processing daemon, for carrying out the image processing according to the image processing parameters P, and for storing processed image data sets S1 obtained by the image processing. The image processing daemon carries out the processing in the background of the operating system, when the image data sets S are input to the folder F, and obtains the processed image data sets S1.

  • Publication number: 20030077064
Abstract: Useless transmission of image data can be prevented if the free space size of a data storing apparatus is not enough. Image data are recorded in a recording medium and sent to a server via a mobile phone to be stored therein, when the free space size of the recording medium becomes 0. Before transmission, size information regarding the image data S is sent to the server and compared with the free space size in the server. Information representing a result is sent to the mobile phone. The information may indicate the fact that the image data sets can be sent if there is sufficient free space size. Otherwise, the information includes information for carrying out deletion of image data sets stored in the server, for example.

  • Publication number: 20030058343
Abstract: When image data recorded in a recording medium by a digital camera are sent to a data storing apparatus and stored therein, the image data can be classified according to a user or a digital camera. The image data are recorded in the recording medium by photography with the digital camera. In the case where free space of the recording medium has been consumed, the image data are sent to a DPE store via a mobile phone and stored in a server therein. A controller of the digital camera 1 adds ID information such as user ID or digital camera ID to the image data at the time of transfer of the image data. The DPE store stores the image data by classifying the image data in a user directory in the server according to the ID information added to the image data.
