    Abstract: An apparatus for intermittently feeding a movie film on a frame by frame basis to a film processing unit for processing thereat by inserting projections into openings formed on both sides of the movie film at predetermined pitches and driving the same by use of a driving device. The film processing apparatus may include a guiding device for guiding the film along a path which passes nearby the film processing unit so as to enable the film processing unit to capture an image from the film and to perform processing of the same. The film processing apparatus may further include a device for exerting pressure on the film by moving the guiding device so that a portion of the film which passes nearby the film processing unit is held in tension, and a restraining device for restraining the guiding means from moving.
