  • Publication number: 20010024042
Abstract: A straddle type four-wheeled all-terrain vehicle includes: a body frame having a front end part; a front guard joined to the front end part of the body frame; and a winch unit including an electric winch and a guide roller mechanism for guiding a tow rope. The electric winch and the guide roller mechanism are arranged longitudinally from a rear toward a front in that order in a lower part of a space in the front guard.

  • Patent number: 5739643
Abstract: An output from a D.C. power source is supplied to a flashlamp through a high speed switching circuit. A current detection circuit detects a current from the high speed switching circuit and a voltage detection circuit detects a voltage applied to the flashlamp. A multiplication circuit multiplies the detected current and voltage to compute a product value. The high speed switching circuit is controlled so that the product value becomes equal to a predetermined value or an amplitude level of a pulse shape control signal inputted from the outside.

  • Patent number: 4714830
Abstract: Scan distortion is eliminated in a light beam positioner utilizing a first mirror for deflecting a light beam in a first direction in response to a first compensated control signal. A second mirror receives the light deflected from the first mirror and, in response to a second compensated control signal, deflects the received light beam at a second angle in a second direction which is orthogonal to the first direction. An objective lens is provided for focussing the deflected light beam produced by the second mirror. A controller means generates first and second uncompensated control signals which are respectively proportional to the first and second angles of deflection. A scan distortion compensating circuit generates first and second intermediate signals which are respectively dependent on the first and second uncompensated control signals.

  • Patent number: 4531239
Abstract: A signal collision detection device for an optical receiver forming a part of an optical local area network which interconnects a number of optical transceivers using optical fibers. The signal collision detection device operates to inform the receiver whether it is receiving a signal from only one transmitter or simultaneously receiving signals from two or more network transmitters. The signal collision detection device includes at least a differentiating circuit, a decision circuit, and a collision detection circuit. The differentiating circuit, which has a time constant sufficiently small to discriminate the leading and trailing edges of incoming pulse signals, converts the incoming signal into a bipolar balanced code of pulses of one polarity corresponding to a rising edge and of the other polarity corresponding to a falling edge. The decision circuit detects the polarity of the pulses produced by the differentiator circuit and supplies this information to the collision detection circuit.
