  • Patent number: 9172581
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a communication system includes at least one user apparatus and a datacenter apparatus. The datacenter apparatus includes a processor, a memory and a controller. The processor includes a plurality of containers required to execute a plurality of communication functions associated with the exchange processing between the communication terminals or between the communication terminal and the communication line. The memory stores a user ID used to identify the user apparatus. The controller provides a communication service using at least one of the plurality of containers when a use request of the communication function is received from the user apparatus.

  • Patent number: 8590051
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an information processing apparatus includes an identifier generation module, an identifier write module, an identifier storage, and a removable media control module. The identifier generation module generates a media identifier for a removable medium connected to the information processing apparatus. The identifier write module writes the generated media identifier in a predetermined area in the removable medium. The identifier storage stores the generated media identifier in an identifier list. The removable media control module permits use of a removable medium which is newly connected to the information processing apparatus if a media identifier included in the identifier list is written in a predetermined area in the newly connected removable medium.

  • Publication number: 20110145607
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an information processing apparatus connectable to a client terminal comprises a storage, acquisition module, read module, and control module. The storage stores energy-consumption setting information of the client terminal in association with information relating to the client terminal. The acquisition module acquires client terminal information from the client terminal. The read module reads the information relating to the client terminal from the storage based on the acquired client terminal information, and to read the energy-consumption setting information in association with the information relating to the client terminal. The control module delivers the read energy-consumption setting information to the client terminal in order to carry out an energy consumption control for the client terminal.

  • Patent number: 6662204
Abstract: The executing threads in CPU 100˜103 are checked at random intervals in a specified range by interrupt execution modules 109˜112, the results of the checks are stored in executing thread memory areas 113˜116 and values of counters 117˜120 that are corresponding to the executing threads are incremented. If the values of the counters 117˜120 exceed specified values, applicable threads are judged to be operating abnormally and priorities of the applicable threads are lowered so as to prevent the abnormal operations of the threads.
