  • Patent number: 10725253
Abstract: An optical multiplexer/demultiplexer may include some beam splitters on the first surface, a first reflector on the first surface and between the beam splitters, and a second reflector on the second surface. Light propagates between the first surface and the second surface. The light transmission body has some first input/output sections on the first surface for inputting or outputting the respective signal beams. The light transmission body has a second input/output section on the second surface for inputting or outputting the multiplexed signal beam. Each of the beam splitters is placed at a corresponding one of the first input/output sections to pass a corresponding one of the signal beams. The first reflector stays away from any one of the first input/output sections.

  • Publication number: 20200136190
Abstract: A mono-cell is formed of a separator, a positive electrode, a separator and a negative electrode bonded to one another. Each separator includes a ceramic layer facing the positive electrode. On a lower surface and an upper surface of the positive electrode, an adhesive is applied at points lined up on a straight line along a width direction orthogonal to a conveyance direction. When an application length is defined as the product of the number of application points of the adhesive lined up in the width direction and the application diameter of each adhesive, the number of application points and the application diameter are set such that a value obtained by dividing, by the application length, a force applied to each ceramic layer based on acceleration and the weight of the separator during suction and conveyance becomes smaller than the necessary peeling strength per unit length of the ceramic layer.

  • Patent number: 9907141
Abstract: A luminance control device and a luminance control method for controlling luminance of a light emitting member are provided in order to reduce the amount of information to be stored while preventing the user from feeling uncomfortable. The CPU divides by the interpolation division number a value obtained subtracting the reference duty ratio from the reference duty ratio so as to calculate an interpolation variation width, and integrates the interpolation variation width to the reference duty ratio every time the interpolation period elapses, and the variation width in the luminance of the LED is therefore reduced, preventing users to feel uncomfortable, which allows for suppressing the amount of information to be stored.

  • Patent number: 9817340
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an intermediate transfer body, a plurality of image bearers, a plurality of developing devices, a plurality of primary transfer devices, a secondary transfer device, and a cleaner. The plurality of image bearers are disposed side by side along the intermediate transfer body. In a refreshing mode, the plurality of developing devices form toner images on the plurality of image bearers during a non-image-formation period and the cleaner cleans a surface of the intermediate transfer body. In the refreshing mode, a toner image formed on one image bearer of the plurality of image bearers, which differs from a most downstream image bearer of the plurality of image bearers in a direction of conveyance of the intermediate transfer body, reaches the cleaner first of the toner images formed on the plurality of image bearers.

  • Patent number: 9776145
Abstract: Provided is a method of mixing first and second liquids having mutual solubility inside a mixing flow channel formed by a micro flow channel. This method includes: causing the first and second liquids to be joined to each other inside the mixing flow channel; and forming a slug flow, in which mixing subject cells (60) formed by the joined liquid and insoluble fluid cells (63) formed by an insoluble fluid are alternately arranged, inside a flow channel at the downstream side of an insoluble fluid supply position in a manner such that the insoluble fluid having insolubility with respect to both mixing subject liquids is supplied to the joined liquid flowing through the flow channel in a direction intersecting the flow channel so that the joined liquid is divided with a gap therebetween, thereby mixing the first mixing subject liquid and the second mixing subject liquid contained in each mixing subject cell inside the downstream flow channel.
