  • Patent number: 11416206
Abstract: A touch input device includes a touch input part that is installed on a vehicle and includes a tabular panel to be touch-operated and an actuator causing a vibration of the panel; and a control unit that performs at least one of a first control and a second control, the first control driving the actuator such that the panel vibrates in response to touch operations, and the second control driving the actuator such that the panel vibrates at an audible band. The touch input device is positioned such that a directivity of a sound emitted from the panel is increased toward an ear of an occupant of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11051104
Abstract: An acoustic device to be mounted in a vehicle, the acoustic device including at least two speakers arranged before a front face of an occupant sitting in a seat to sandwich a center line of the seat and a control unit that controls characteristics of sound output from each of the speakers such that a stereophonic sound image produced by sounds output from the at least two speakers is maintained. The at least two speakers are installed on a steering wheel of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20200398884
Abstract: A switch device includes a switch part that is installed on a steering wheel of a vehicle and that includes an operation knob and an electromagnetic element for detecting an operation on the operation knob and causing a vibration of the operation knob, and a control unit that makes the operation knob vibrate. The control unit controls the electromagnetic element to vibrate under a predetermined condition so that vibration is transmitted to a hand of an occupant holding the steering wheel.

  • Publication number: 20160379777
Abstract: The operation device includes ball sensors and a determination unit. Each of the ball sensors has a ball, whereof a portion is exposed from an opening provided in an operation surface, rotating in a first direction which is the direction of an operation performed on the operation surface, and a second direction which is a direction opposite to the first direction; a support rotatably supporting the ball, and a rotation sensor for detecting the rotation of the ball. The ball sensors are disposed so as to be arranged on the operation surface along the first direction. The determination unit determines the operations performed in the first direction and the second direction on the operation surface based on detection signals outputted from the rotation sensors of the of ball sensors.
