  • Publication number: 20110211804
Abstract: The present invention provides a video display device provided with a storage mechanism that reliably holds a recording medium (HDD) with the reduced number of components. A tray integrally stores an installed HDD built in the device and a cassette HDD attachable to and detachable from the device, and is mounted on a main chassis. An HDD stopper of a hook-like shape integrated with the tray presses an end part of the installed HDD to secure its storage position. An HDD holder integrated with the tray presses a side surface at an end part of the cassette HDD to prevent it from falling off the tray. Further, a regulating plate formed by cutting and raising the main chassis suppresses deformation of the HDD stopper, and an anti-falling plate prevents the installed HDD from falling off the tray.

  • Patent number: 7326910
Abstract: The present invention provides a multiple-optical-axis photoelectric sensor in which an error in detection of an object caused by disturbance light is prevented easily and efficiently by adjusting a light projection/reception cycle in accordance with a state where mutual interference is recognized. In the invention, by detecting a range in which mutual interference occurs, that is, the position in which disturbance light is detected, which is either a first-half period or a latter-half period of a whole light projecting/receiving operation period, whether the phase is advanced or delayed is determined. For a period according to the position of the optical axis in which incidence of disturbance light is recognized or the number of optical axes in which incidence of disturbance light is recognized continuously, a scheduled next sync timing is changed.

  • Patent number: 6773997
Abstract: A high voltage MOSFET device (100) has an nwell region (113) with a p-top layer (108) of opposite conductivity formed to enhance device characteristics. The p-top layer is implanted through a thin gate oxide, and is being diffused into the silicon later in the process using the source/drain anneal process. There is no field oxide grown on the top of the extended drain region, except two islands of field oxide close to the source and drain diffusion regions. This eliminates any possibility of p-top to be consumed by the field oxide, and allows to have a shallow p-top with very controlled and predictable p-top for achieving low on-resistance with maintaining desired breakdown voltage.

  • Patent number: 6492679
Abstract: A high voltage MOSFET device (100) has a well region (113) with two areas. The first area (110) has a high dopant concentration and the second area (112) has a low dopant concentration. Inside the well region a region of a secondary conductivity type (108) is formed. The second area (110) is typically underlying a gate region (105). The lower doping concentration in that area helps to increase the breakdown voltage when the semiconductor device is blocking voltage and helps to decrease the on-resistance when the semiconductor device is in the “on” state. The MOSFET device further has a p-top layer (108) which is disposed on the top surface of the well region and then driven into the well region by annealing the MOSFET device at a high temperature in an inert atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 6314578
Abstract: The present invention relates to child protecting clothes for vehicles, used with a seat belt so as to protect a child sitting on a seat of an automobile from a shock of an accident. As compared with a related art child seat, the child protecting clothes have the following advantages. The protective clothes can be put on a child as the safety of the child is secured; manufactured at a low cost; and give the person wearing the clothes a certain degree of freedom of physical movement. A back member 10B of the protective clothes is formed double of an inner cloth portion 10B1 and an outer cloth portion 10B2. A seatbelt C can be inserted between the inner and outer cloth portions 10B1, 10B2 of the back member.

  • Patent number: 4522567
Abstract: A swash plate compressor especially suited for automotive vehicles. The inner housing may be moved in the rear housing in the front and rear direction, as the occasion may demand, for adjusting the compression capacity or performance of the compressor. A partition wall is projectingly projected at the front side of the inner housing for defining an inner or discharge chamber and an outer or suction chamber. A plurality of clamp bolts for fixedly clamping together a rear cylinder block and the rear housing are passed through said suction chamber. The rear wall of the inner housing is formed with an annular thin-walled portion lesser in thickness than the valve plate on the front surface of said inner housing. By the function of said thin-walled portion, the inner housing may be flexed readily to absorb valve plate strain.

  • Patent number: 4470761
Abstract: A swash plate type compressor, having a swash plate fixedly and slantingly secured to a drive shaft and also secured to pistons in such a manner that the pistons reciprocate as the swash plate rotates, has piston webs which have a sliding outer surface and a relief inner surface. A clearance exists between a circumferential surface of the swash plate and the relief surface which creates a wedge effect which, in turn, produces a lubricating film pressure that substantially reduces wear between the circumferential surface of the swash plate and the sliding surface.
