  • Patent number: 6953169
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a magnetic tape cartridge in which reliability has been enhanced by preventing a thin insertion-guide portion, provided in an opening for guiding a leader pin, from being deformed due to shock produced by dropping, etc. The magnetic tape cartridge has a cartridge case 4 in which a single reel with magnetic tape 6 wound thereon is rotatably housed. In an opening 10 through which a leader member 5 rigidly attached to the leading end of the magnetic tape 6 is pulled in and out, an insertion-guide portion 21 for guiding an end portion of the leader member 5 is formed by making the case wall surface thin, and a cutout is provided on at least one side of the insertion-guide portion 21 at a position of an edge of the opening 10.

  • Publication number: 20050046080
Abstract: When resins are injected into a cavity 104 of an injection mold 101 separably formed of a movable mold 102 and an immovable mold 103 to form a casting, a high-pressure gas is supplied into the cavity 104 during a time period after completion of forming the casting till the injection mold 101 opens partway, and the high-pressure gas is allowed to jet out through a clearance formed between joint surfaces of the movable and immovable molds 102, 103 while the injection mold is opening. More than one attraction gripper is used to hold, move and place an insert at a predetermined position in the injection mold. Magnetic shielding is provided between the injection mold and a magnet embedded at the predetermined position in the injection mold to restrict a leakage of a magnetic flux into the injection mold.

  • Patent number: 5337973
Abstract: A magnetic tape cassette which solves the problem of deformation of a guide groove due to a sink mark formed when the neighboring portions of a shaft insertion opening are reduced in thickness to reduce the weight of the cassette case. A tongue-shaped projection is formed adjacent to a central guide groove, the projection including a recessed portion, such as a circular recess or a lateral notch, for reducing the thickness of the projection.
