  • Patent number: 7647733
Abstract: A reinforcing structure for a building and a reinforcing member used for the structure, where the structure has excellent anti-vibration characteristics and quake resistance. The reinforcing structure and member for a building are capable of reducing the deformation of structural members of the building caused by vibration and removing the deformation so that the original form is restored. A reinforcing member (1) is provided and fixed at a corner portion where structural members (11, 12) of a building intersect. The reinforcing member (1) is formed such that a first spring member (third leaf 33) and a second spring member (layered leaf (5)) are combined, and a damper (4) and a synthetic resin foam body (2a) are arranged in a space between the first and second spring members. A synthetic resin foam body (2b) is filled in a space surrounded by the structural members (11, 12) and the reinforcing member (1).

  • Publication number: 20090031666
Abstract: The present invention relates to a reinforcing member for a building and a construction, which reinforces a structural member in a building and a construction, and reinforced structure using the reinforcing member. The reinforcing member comprises an attaching metal member to a structural member, an energy absorber, and a surface metal member. The energy absorber is held between the attaching metal member and the surface metal member, and integrated with those metal members. Further, the present invention relates to a reinforced structure having a vibration-proofing performance and an earthquake resistance, which comprise the reinforcing member bridged and installed on a joint portion between a post structural member and an another structural member connected to the post structural member.

  • Patent number: 6318031
Abstract: A recess is formed by excavating ground, and a base support formed by a synthetic resin molded foam is laid in the recess or resin foam concrete is placed in the recess to provide a base support formed by the resin foam concrete in the recess. A plurality of vibration absorbers is mounted on the base support in such a manner as to be parallel to and spaced from each other at specific intervals. The vibration absorber is formed by a plate-like synthetic resin molded foam having a large number of through-holes which pass through the molded foam in the thickness direction or a plate-like synthetic resin molded foam having a large number of gaps between particles. Concrete is placed on the base support on which the vibration absorbers have been mounted, to form a base. The three components, that is, the base support, vibration absorbers, and base are integrated to each other to constitute a base structure of a building.

  • Patent number: 5899031
Abstract: A partition structure having a screen includes a pair of main wall members disposed in parallel to each other with a predetermined interval, a pair of side wall members connected at end portions thereof to the end portions of the pair of main wall members to connect said main wall members to each other and provide a partition space defined by said main wall members and said side wall members, and one or more spacer members disposed in said partition space and fixed to said main wall members to hold the main wall members in positon. At least a part of at least one of the main wall members and the spacer members being a screen. The partition structure may further include a top member and a bottom member closing the partition space, and a communicating tube communicating with the partition space through the top plate.
