  • Publication number: 20240165326
Abstract: A priming system including a resilient chamber having flexible walls and a first check valve in a first fluid pathway between the resilient chamber and a fluid reservoir such that a fluid flows through the first check valve only in a direction from the fluid reservoir toward the resilient chamber and the fluid returns to the fluid reservoir through a second fluid pathway between the resilient chamber and the fluid reservoir upon compression of the walls of the resilient chamber.

  • Publication number: 20240008977
Abstract: This disclosure is directed to prosthetic heart valves having elongated sealing members. As one example, a prosthetic heart valve comprises an annular frame, a leaflet assembly comprising a plurality of leaflets, and a skirt assembly comprising an inner skirt, an outer skirt, and/or a third skirt. The frame is radially compressible and expandable between a radially compressed state and a radially expanded state and comprises a plurality of apices at an inflow end. The skirt assembly forms a pocket at the inflow end of the frame that creates extra space between the inflow end of the frame and the skirt assembly when the frame is in the radially expanded state. This pocket allows the apices at the inflow end of the frame to move towards an inflow end of the pocket when the frame is radially compressed to the radially compressed state without protruding through the skirt assembly.

  • Patent number: 7464081
Abstract: A method and system of translating data from a first format into one or more translated formats includes initiating a translation request on one of plurality of client systems. The translation request includes source data to be translated from the first format into desired translated formats and configuration data defining each type of translation to be performed on the source data. The translation request is communicated to a server system and is processed on the server system to determine from the configuration data the type of each data translation to be performed on the data. The data is provided to an appropriate translation service on the server system and is translated to the appropriate translated format via the corresponding translation service. A return translation request is communicated to the client system, the return translation request including the data in each translated format.
