  • Patent number: 6310527
Abstract: A reactance of a reactance element in a multi-layer circuit board apparatus is trimmed by cutting a portion of the circuit pattern of the reactance element with a laser beam. The reactance element is sandwiched between grounded layers. A coil circuit pattern having at least a hole therein may be provided as the reactance element. A side portion between the edge of the coil circuit pattern and the hole is cut with the laser beam to trim the inductive reactance. Cutting is effected while the circuit is operated and the operating condition such as an oscillation frequency is observed. A plurality of holes may be provided in the coil circuit pattern. The trimming amount of the inductive reactance is determined by the number of the hole subjected to cutting. The holes may have different sizes. The trimming amount is obtained by which one of the hole is subjected to cutting. The distance between the cut circuit pattern is equal to or larger than the thickness of the circuit pattern.

  • Publication number: 20010031152
Abstract: In a conventional color printer, especially an in-line type full color image forming apparatus, an aberration of optical axes caused by distortions of structures affect a performance of an image forming as a tilt aberration in a printed image. Accordingly, in a conventional color printer, distortions have to be prevented by strengthening rigidity of machine structures or parts of the machine. However, fine adjustment or assembling to strengthen rigidity generally causes an increase in cost and requires time-consuming adjustment. An apparatus in the present invention provides advantages of high accuracy and strengthened structure without increasing cost.

  • Patent number: 5538414
Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for shaping elongated bar-shaped bread dough pieces. In and by this method and apparatus a bread dough piece, namely, a bread dough sheet, a divided bread dough mass, or a preshaped bread dough roll, is subjected to a first rotation, thereby pressing and rolling it in a first gap defined by a conveyor and a pressing belt or a pressing board that faces it, while being conveyed downstream, so as to shape an elongated bar-shaped bread dough piece. This elongated bar-shaped bread dough piece is then fed into a second gap defined by an upper face that comprises a pressing belt or pressing board and a lower face that faces it and comprises a conveyor, a pressing belt or a pressing board, and is subjected to a second rotation that is in a direction reverse to that of the first rotation, thereby shaping a further elongated bar-shaped bread dough piece with a straight wound-dough end.
