  • Publication number: 20240131980
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a motor vehicle comprising at least one illumination device, by means of which at least one light signal can be generated which is visible from outside the motor vehicle, and comprising at least one acoustic device, by means of which at least one acoustic signal can be generated which is audible from outside the motor vehicle. The at least one control device of the motor vehicle is configured to check whether at least one output condition is satisfied and, if the at least one output condition is satisfied, to control the at least one illumination device and the at least one acoustic device in such a way that the light signal and the acoustic signal are generated simultaneously.

  • Publication number: 20160362759
Abstract: A method for producing hot-rolled seamless pipes from transformable steel for pipelines in which the pipe ends are hot-upsetted in order to achieve a thickened wall portion after a final rolling process of the pipes to provide pipes with excellent fatigue, corrosion, and welding properties. A pre-selected ratio between a wall thickness of the pipe end and a wall thickness of a wall body adjoining the pipe end is set by the hot-upsetting process such that a pipe is achieved with a pipe end which has a lower strength than the pipe body after a uniform tempering process of the entire pipe following the hot-upsetting process by using a previously ascertained wall thickness-dependent cooling rate during the tempering process.

  • Publication number: 20110285717
Abstract: A technique for controlling a navigation device to generate a navigation manoeuvre graphics for a road junction manoeuvre is proposed. A device embodiment of this technique comprises a routing module adapted to provide routing information pertaining to a scheduled route, with the scheduled route comprising the road junction. Furthermore, an interface to a map database is provided, with the map database containing road data pertaining to the upcoming road junction. A processor of the navigation device analyses the road data to determine one or more junction geometry parameters of the road junction and to compose, based on the junction geometry parameters and from a plurality of pre-defined graphical junction elements, junction graphics data representative of the road junction. The processor is further adapted to generate, from the routing information and the junction geometry parameters, manoeuvre indication graphics data representative of the junction manoeuvre.

  • Publication number: 20110259478
Abstract: A high-strength steel and a high-strength, weldable steel pipe. The invention relates to a high-strength steel and to a high-strength, weldable steel pipe. The high-strength, low-alloy steel for seamless steel pipes with outstanding weldability and resistance to stress corrosion cracking with a minimum yield strength of 620 MPa and a tensile strength of at least 690 MPa is characterized by the composition indicated in claim 1.

  • Patent number: 6129560
Abstract: A plug-and-socket connector having a conductor track structure provided with electrical components, and a method of producing the same.Known plug-and-socket connectors in which a conductor track structure is formed from a metal band can only be embodied with a space-saving design at high cost, and nevertheless have a large structural height. It is very costly to provide such a plug-and-socket connector with components for realizing electrical functions. A design that saves more space, and a smaller structural height, are possible with a plug-and-socket connector having a conductor track structure that is planar and has a window-shaped opening, which is adjoined perpendicularly in one direction by a plug region that receives both the first plug and the second plug inserted from the opposite direction through the window-shaped opening of the conductor track structure.
