    Abstract: A broadband connection method includes a virtual broadband network gateway (vBNG)-control plane (CP) that receives first indication information from a user plane selection function (USF), where the first indication information indicates a second vBNG-user plane (UP) that replaces a first vBNG-UP when the first vBNG-UP is faulty. The vBNG-CP sends a user entry to the second vBNG-UP based on the first indication information, where the user entry is used by the second vBNG-UP to enable a user to access a network based on the user entry when the first vBNG-UP is faulty such that when a user plane is faulty, broadband access of a user is not interrupted, and the user can continue to access a network.

    Abstract: A communication method, a device, and a system are disclosed. An SF device adds a first location identifier including an identifier of the SF device and an identifier of a first physical port to a received first packet sent by first user equipment, and sends a second packet to which the first location identifier is added to a first UP device. The first UP device sends a third packet to a CP device, and the CP device sends the third packet to a USF device. The USF device interacts with an SDN controller, to enable the SDN controller to deliver a configuration instruction to the corresponding SF device. The first packet may be a DHCP packet or a PPPoE packet, and OPTION82/OPTION18 is added to carry the first location identifier.

The method includes: sending probe packets to the user terminal based on a preset parameter obtained by the user plane entity in advance; and if a probe response packet sent by the user terminal is not received in a preset duration, sending a probe failure message to the control plane entity, where the probe packets are used to check whether a communication link between the user terminal and the user plane entity is faulty, and the probe failure message indicates the control plane entity to perform offline processing on the user terminal.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a device and method for diagnosing risk of insufficient hole cleaning problem during drilling wells. The method includes obtaining the measured pressure via several measuring points, and obtaining actually measured value of each measuring point; calculate the theoretical pressure at each measuring points by using the real-time operational data as inputs, evaluating a hole cleaning condition by applying a difference between a theoretical pressure drop and a measured pressure drop to a developed pressure driven hole cleaning model, which gives the risk of insufficient hole cleaning problems and problematic locations. The theoretical pressure drop between two adjacent measurement points along wellbore includes the pressure drop caused by friction effect and hydrostatic effect. However, suspended cuttings in actual drilling fluid may significantly change the pressure drop along wellbore.
