  • Publication number: 20160295827
Abstract: An end effector that mounts to a robot and discharges animal treating fluid onto the teats of a milking animal includes a rigid inner arm section and a flexible outer arm section, and a camera with a front window. An inner end portion of the inner arm section is mountable to the robot, the inner end portion of the outer arm section is rigidly connected to outer end portion of the inner arm section, the camera is mounted on an upper side of the inner arm section with the front window facing the outer arm section, and the outer arm section is provided with at least one nozzle in the outer end portion, the nozzle being directed upwards such that animal treating fluid can be discharged through the nozzle and upwards towards a teat of a milking animal during use of the robot.

  • Publication number: 20070102923
Abstract: A coupling system for transferring anaesthetic liquid from a bottle to a vaporizer as a bottle part that includes a first valve with a first spring-loaded valve body and a first reactive body, and a vaporizer part that includes a second valve with a second spring-loaded valve body and a second reactive body. A seal is disposed between the first valve body and the first reactive body of the bottle part, and a further seal is disposed between the second valve body and the second reactive body of the vaporizer part. The seals are positioned and the reactive bodies are arranged so that, when the bottle part and the vaporizer part are coupled together, the seal of the bottle part abuts sealingly against the second reactive body, and the seal of the vaporizer part abuts sealingly against the first reactive body.

  • Patent number: 6910674
Abstract: A valve in a breathing device has a housing with an inlet and an outlet, a valve housing having an inlet and an outlet, a valve seat arranged in the housing, a valve body arranged in the housing to be freely moveable with respect to the valve seat between a closed position where the valve body completely covers the valve seat and an open position where the valve body is distanced from the valve seat. The valve body comprising a rigid central portion and a circumferential wrinkled and flexible portion devised for friction-free movement of the rigid central portion, and an actuator for controlling a force applied on the valve body in response to a control signal. The actuator includes an actuator body, a shaft having an end contactable with the valve body, and an electromagnetic displacement coil.
