Abstract: Systems, methods, and tangible computer-readable storage mediums for providing secure access to information during a user session are provided. A password from a user device can be received via a network. An encryption key and a decryption key can be generated. The password can be encrypted using the encryption key. The decryption key can be encrypted. A first combination of a portion of the encrypted decryption key and a portion of the encrypted password can be generated. A second combination of a remaining portion of the encrypted decryption key and a remaining portion of the encrypted password can be generated. The first combination can be transmitted and stored in the user session, and the second combination can be stored in a database.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and tangible computer-readable storage mediums for secure access to information are presented. More particularly, embodiments relate to encrypting at least part of the information using an information-specific key or a key symmetric to the information-specific key; encrypting the information-specific key using a first public key; encrypting a first private key; and storing in memory the encrypted information, encrypted first private key, and the encrypted information-specific key. Some further embodiments include: decrypting the first private key; decrypting the information-specific key using the first private key; and decrypting at least part of the information using the information-specific key.

Abstract: A method and system for assessing the quality of location content is disclosed. The method includes evaluating the quality of location content based on who provided the content, the accuracy of the location data associated with the content, the integrity of the content, and when the content was provided. As a result of the evaluation, a quality score is generated. The quality score provides an indication of the reliability of the location content. The quality score may be updated when a change is made to the content.

Abstract: A method and system for managing relationships between location identifiers is disclosed. A relationship includes an originating identifier and a target identifier. A unique relationship is defined by the location codes and relationship types associated with the originating and target identifier. A synonym service, a translation service, and a validation service analyze a new or modified relationship prior to storing the relationship in a relationship store. A graph service, a statistics service, and a reporting service analyze the relationships stored in the relationship store.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product that provides locator services. A locator system includes a locator server that handles location requests received from a application server and/or over a network such as the Internet, and a database server coupled to a locator server. An Internet-enabled locator method includes a user entering a location code in an interface, searching for matching locales, and providing location information pertaining to the matching locales to a user.
