    Abstract: The present invention uses an input multiplexer for selecting a plurality of input signals, a fluid multiplexer for selectively delivering a control output to a plurality of devices to be controlled, a detecting multiplexer for selecting detected signals indicative of the condition in which the devices respond, a controller for controlling the multiplexers for successive and repeated selective operations, for effecting a controlling arithmetic operation on an input signal fed through the input multiplexer and a detected signal fed through the detecting multiplexer, and for delivering a control signal resulting from the controlling arithmetic operation, and an electropneumatic transducer for converting the control signal to a pneumatic pressure and issuing the pneumatic pressure as an input to the fluid multiplexer.

    Abstract: In a three force balanced mechanism comprising a floating pivot, an input force transmitting member, a feedback force transmitting member, one end of the input force transmitting member and one end of the feedback force transmitting member pivot in different directions, a flexible span setting member inclined with respect to the input force transmitting member, one end of the flexible span setting member being wound about or unwound from the floating pivot, there are provided detecting means for detecting the input force, restoring means responsive to the output of the detecting means for applying a restoring force to the feedback force transmitting member, and spring means for varying a force acting upon the input force transmitting member or the feedback force transmitting member in accordance with the movement of the free end of the span setting member.

    Abstract: In a three force balanced mechanism of the type comprising a floating pivot, an input force transmitting member, a feedback force transmitting member, one end of these members being connected to the floating pivot and a flexible span setting member with one end secured to the floating pivot, the span setting member being inclined with respect to the input force transmitting member, the floating pivot has a cylindrical surface intersecting the two force transmitting members and one end of the span setting member is wound about or unwound from the cylindrical surface. In one embodiment the cylindrical floating pivot is formed a notch having side surfaces orthogonal to each other and the two force transmitting members are secured to respective side surfaces.
