Abstract: A color matching method characterized by comprising the steps of executing, in a batch process, by applying a preset correction condition, color matching that is offered to a color separating job done in a printing preparation step by B who has received from A an order for printing documents including color images and that substantially matches the color of a digital image (on a computer monitor display in an image processing system) with the color of a corresponding original image, classifying the result into a normal digital image correctable to a color proximate to the color of the corresponding original image and a non-correctable digital image according to the preset condition, and sequentially correcting the image color of the former correction digital image as required by a known technique and individually correcting the image color of the latter image by a known technique.
